Gd location to shopping areas (Pratunum, Platinum)
Gd service- help to communicate directions to cabs,
New-looking room
Small window- can sleep late without light
TV w selected channels
Don't really like the toilet-clean & plain
Need to take tuk tuk/cab, BTS is 1km away
Individual air con in rooms- adjustable

My last 2 stays was at Asia Hotel, this place is cheaper (average 1440baht) and newer than there. I will stay at this place when I revisit bkk.

Service was good, they will always call in cabs 24/7 if you need and they will have 2 ppl stationed at the door to help w the cabs. Friendly service (but a bit slow), new & cheap rooms, I will be back.

I tried the buffet spread at Baiyoke Sky for the view, 50% for those staying here, so reasonable price (300++ baht). Can go if you want a top view of bangkok. Seems that there's quite a few jap-speaking staff & 1-2 that has a good gasp of english.

We spent 1 night here and believe it was good value for money, we paid $45AUD. The staff on the front desk were helpful, even offered us juice upon check in. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was small and had an unpleasant smell ( if our stay was longer I would have asked to move). All hotel guests get a discount card which entitles you to several discounts in the hotel and it's sister hotel Baiyoke Sky. We went to Sky (which is the tallest building in Bangkok) for dinner at the International Seafood Buffett which was huge and had everything you could want and more, then even cooked your steak and fish to your liking, we had a table with an amazing view of the nightlights of Bangkok. Your ticket then also allowed you to visit the outdoor revloving observation deck at the top of the building, more sensational views and the best part we got our meal for half price!! so when you add all these extras up and the price of the room it was good value, we went to the airport the next morning at 5am and it only took 30 mins which was mostly on the express way. There are night markets at the entrance to the hotel for shopping to.
Would stay here again.

Can take express bus AE1 from airport & alight (35mins) at 1st stop Pratunum & walked to hotel (10-15mins)
Stayed in hotel from 7-10 August 2008, Level 4, Room Near the stairs.
A budgeted hotel at a good location.
Check in & out very prompt, friendly & efficient receptionists.
Recommend for singles & couples.
Room space quite small but bearable.
Towels not clean & has stains.
Carpets are dirty & black with certain spots smelly. Walking in the room without slippers will make your feet black!
If you are planning on a budgeted trip, intending to shop whole day & not a clean freak, can stay.

Stayed at Baiyoke Boutique Hotel from 10 - 13 July 2008.

Location- Very near Platinium Mall, Pratunam area. Walking distance to Central World, Big C, Pantip Mall. Night markets near the hotel.

Service - Front Office staff helpful. Helped me to book international buffet dinner at sister hotel - Baiyoke Sky & gave me universal adaptor for mobile phone promptly. Price of buffet at 470 baht was a bargain for guests of Baiyoke hotels.

Food - Breakfast - same throughout my 4 days stay.

Rooms- Towels look old & had a musty smell

Overall - Value for money

I booked this hotel through pyotravel.com, and apprently, it gave cheaper rate compared to others website.
The hotel condition is worth the money. Room condition is clean, hot shower with good water pressure. However, the ambient light is a bit low. Typical breakfast is provided.
Hotel is far from nearest skytrain station. It took me about 15 min to walk to ZEN shopping mall.
Hotel do provide free shutter to siam center, however, only once an hour, from 10am-7pm only, yet gotta share with guest from Baiyoke Sky. Therefore, it is always fully booked!
If you look for moderate standard hotel with reasonable rate, you may consider this.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights, from the 6th of June till the 10th. To be fair, we have to consider the money we are paying when we compare such hotels to the others. No Hilton, nor Oriental but i believe that the hotel do have its merits as well. It has quite a decent location, with the night market bustling with people and even tours groups come here specially, so imagine the convenience. Haven bought enough??? Just go down again, just a mins walk. It is also only 5 mins walk from plantinium mall which offers lots od shopping especialy for girls.

However, is also has its limits on dining options. other than a seafood restaurant and i think another one that sells curry, there is not much options. fastfood and Swensens is available near Indra. My girlfriend and i often walked to Central to have our meals which in our opinion served great food. MBK and Siam Paragon should cost you about 50-60 baht via Tuk Tuk. and the nearest BTS, Phaya thai is about 15 mins walk.

Perhaps due to its capacity, we will see attentive bell boys always ready to help you with the luggage and the doors. The room service is in my experience quite efficeint. Bulbs were changed and pillows were delivered within 5 mins.

Overall, it has been quite a positive experience for me at this hotel. I would surely recommend this place should you come to BK. Cheers!!!

Stayed there May 27-30 with our 3 kids, 11 yr-old twin boys & 5 yr old girl. Though initially booked in 2 separate rooms, they accomodated my request for king size room with a connecting twin bed room. Wonderful! Baiyoke Boutique is a lot better than Baiyoke Suite. But Baiyoke Sky remains the best. The Boutique has "young" ambience, with colorful elevator doors and few steps for the energetic kids. Location is good though difficult to instruct the cab/tuktuk where to find. Coffeeshop attendants are not so conversant with English. You wont always get exactly what you want, but upon sign /pix language, they manage to understand. Downside though includes: forgetting to clean the room on our first day ( but they apologized), somehow smelly room(cigarettes), old carpets. Air freshener would do the trick. Overall, its worth the stay. They have working waterpot for coffee, hairdryer, and safety box. Buffet breakfast though remains the same everyday.
