No massage available, and no alternative was proposed. “cannot earn money with this farrang customer, bye bye” mentality, not for me. True that the absence of customer service has become the standard in this over touristy area, but there are still far better massage places just around the corner. Dahra only by appointment, which is not convenient with the variable travel times in BKK.
Took the usual no taximeter cab scam Thai style to get there, didn’t help to improve my mood.

Dear Bosquito,
Thank you for your review. Though we do not recognize our selves in this review at all. We receive many bookings online and by telephone and always respond in the best way possible. If we are fully booked we offer alternatives which are closest to the desired time of our guest.
If you walk in and we have availability we will happily accept you as our guest. However you can't expect miracles if we are fully booked which I do admit happens a lot at this time of year. We therefore advice everyone to make a booking in advance if possible. We usually confirm (or offer alternatives) within 1 hour of making a reservation.
I do understand your frustration about the Thai taxi scams, but you can always refuse this taxi and take another one or use Grab taxi.
Finally I would like to say that your review doesn't give a fair impression of the service that we provide.

We are staying in Sukhumvit and massage parlours/spas are a dime a dozen in the area. Most of the women working at these spas seem bored to tears, sitting out front and scrolling through their smart phones. When my daughter and I walked by several times, they did not even look up. Seems they're more interested in a male clientele. Thanks to Trip Advisor, we discovered Dahra Beauty and Spa and took the plunge for a few extra dollars for a top notch experience and an incredible head, neck and shoulder massage, which is really a full body massage. A similar experience would cost over $100 back home. Great atmosphere, great little extras and I walked out feeling rested and rejuvenated. If I can wing it, I will go back. Highly recommend and totally worth it!

This spa is one of th e best and most professional in Thailand, i get the most pleasant welocome from the front desl ladies and the therapist are always very good in dealing and focussing on the area of focus, i always book via email and they accomdate me always, I last just walked in and the lady was very helpful in getting me a therapist.
