We went to Khoasan Road on 1st night of Songkran. It was mad busy but the girls at susie wong still made sure we never ran dry of mohitos. The lip tingler bun is really worth a try. Great night.

Called into Khoa San road area to see what had changed in the 15 years since we stayed in this area of Bangkok. I'm maybe older but to be honest we thought it was a bit of a dump.
Jet lagged and seriously hungry nothing was tempting us in until we saw Susie Wong's. Small and I'm sure good fun at night there was just us and a group of guys in this tiny place.
Both had a pork sandwich and some beers. Friendly and prompt service. Street food done well. Loved this cute little gem amongst a less attractive area mostly catering for tourists.

Ask for change (when it's small) and then give it to them as a tip, make eye contact, these guys are double friendly then.
That's all you really need to know but...
Order a few shots if you're a regular, you're not better than them!
