A great little hotel, fantastically situated and super value.
Staff were friendly & helpful, room was excellent, all the facilities that you really need and best of all, within a couple of minutes walk from the Skytrain.
I recommend this hotel highly for those who want comfort on a budget. Enjoy.

Perfectly located hotel, 2mins from the Asok Skytrain and Sukhumvit Metro station, from where you can get to anywhere in Bangkok.

Booked a corner room as recommended by a previous reviewer and I concur with him that it's a wonderfully spacious room. Bed was possibly the most comfortable bed we had during our entire stay in Thailand. Bathroom is great with a nice big bath big enough for two as well as a seperate shower cubicle with a rain shower. Nice and light in the room with big windows. Free internet but the wi-fi doesn't work so well so we just plugged the laptop into the cable providing and was able to watch live stream of the mighty Arsenal beating Man City 2-0 so happy with the hi-speed network!

Staff were excellent, polite, friendly and very helpful. Gave us good info on where to go shopping and what other stuff to see.

The restaurant on the 2nd floor wasn't great, food was mediocre but service was ok. But with loads of great restaurants nearby (pop into the Black Swan pub round the corner for a brilliant full English breakfast) we only used the restaurant on the last day for convenience.

I had a 3day/2night Stopover in Bangkok and stayed in the Park Plaza in Sukhumvit. Really perfect! Convenient location, just 200m from the Skytrain Station Asok/ Metro Sukhumvit. Very clean, new and comfortable, good sized room, modern design Hotel type, nice staff ... very nice pool on the rooftop, small fitness area (small but everything there what I would need). Free High-Speed internet in the room, Flatscreen TV, huge park next door.
Have not tried the restaurant as I was travelling on my own, but it looked inspiring.
Have paid ca. EUR 75,- per night, which is very good value.
Was 100% satisfied.

Stayed here in March 2009, in a corner deluxe room. The room was very clean and modern with a spacious bathroom. They also had a great rooftop pool with a fantastic view of BK city centre. The location was O.K. wasn't that fantastic but is still close to Asok Skytrain and subway train station if you need to get to main shopping centres. The services at the hotel was fantastic, staff was very polite and always willing to help. Great value!

We had 1 night in BKK, on our way onwards to Krabi. We stayed at the beautiful Park Plaza , - and what a hotel!! Such a lovely room, I loved the bathroom with the window from ceiling to floor!! With a curtain if you wanted privacy. The staff was lovely and so interested in helping. The bed in our room was huge, and so comfortable.and it was plenty of space for myself, my husband and our 7-year old daughter in between us! We were going to request an extra bed for our daughter, but there was absolutely no need!
There is a nice pool on the rooftop, 15th floor, we didn't have much time in BKK, but surely made time for a visit and a quick dip! If I go back to BKK, which i would love to do, I will with no doubt book a room at the Park Plaza!! Such a great value for money!!

Peaceful hotel in a very central location a stonecast from Asok BTS. The superior rooms are quite small, but for one person they’d be ok. The deluxe corner rooms are larger, and have nice bathrooms with windows and bathtubs.
We especially like the control unit by the bed, from which you can adjust aircon, lights etc, and the very comfortable, nice soft beds.
As there are only 8 rooms in each floor, there were no disturbances from the hallway.
The pool is on the roof, and although the pool area is rather bare, it’s sufficient on a city holiday, if you do not have that much time to sunbathe anyway. Watch out for the very slippery stone when going to the pool!
In the corner room it would be practical if the table was on wheels, so that it could be moved next to the bed/divan, or if there was another chair.
Park Plaza is aesthetically pleasing small hotel with a great location and a very pleasant, professional staff.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights before going to Koh Samui, we booked it as it was rated number 1 on here, What a special place! I cannot believe it is now rated 2nd!??!

Bangkok is crazy, busy, noisy, sweaty and a bit smelly, the Park plaza offered a cool calming relaxing atmosphere. The pool is smallish, but big enough for a swim when winding down at the end of the day, What more do you need???
The pool / roof terrace is open til very late (maybe all night?) we ended up there each night lounging at the side of the pool with coffee or cocktails.

The views from the roof terrace are amazing! and it somehow hides the noise from the streets below. It is very very close to the skytrain (Asok) station, which is very easy and cheap to use.

We had a corner room, and on 1 night i was woken by the noise of traffic outside, but i guess if you stayed in the centre of any big city which has a 24/7 lifestyle then you would get this, my advice....have a few more drinks before you go to bed, the huge beds are so comfortable i didnt want to get out!!
The staff are so pleasant, Beer (Yes a man named Beer) was really helpful, and will give you advice on anywhere you want to go.

We ate there twice and the food was very good quality !

Im not sure i would visit Bangkok again, but if i did then i would stay here!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling to Bangkok :)
