We arrived at this hotel quite frankly thinking we'd arrived in a very terrible part of the city, and honestly speaking unless you like to be surrounded by chavellers you have done just that. The food in these parts isn't great, the bars are full people who probably should have gone to Corfu, however as a destination itself this is a really nice hotel. If you want to 'travel' don't go to Bangkok, if (like us) you need to stop over out of necessity whilst passing through I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Choose this hotel for the end of our holiday from all the good reviews.
Really impressed with it and very happy that we made this choice.
We booked a suite in the second building: Top floor with a balcony, jacuzzi and large shower.
Beautifully decorated, clean and quiet.
Buffet breakfast was good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
There is a bar on the corner (less than 2 minute walk) that had live music in the evening and served good food.
If you stay here it is best to keep a map/directions to the hotel on you. The hotel fronts onto the canal so some taxi/tuk tuk drivers will struggle to find it otherwise.

Room Tip: If you want peace and quiet stay in the second building.

We stayed here in late April and it was amazing!
We chose this place because we read such great reviews on TripAdvisor. Everything proved to be as amazing as the reviews claimed!
The hotel (first building) is so nice. The pool is so refreshing. We loved the nature and culture along the canal. We looked for water monitors daily, they were so cool to see.
I took my daughter on lots of walks along the canal in both directions from Lamphu. So many locals doing their thing. One family gave us a bowl of noodle soup as we walked by.
Anyhow, if we ever go back to Bangkok we will stay here again without a doubt. So great!

This was a wonderful little hotel on the canal and near the river to take water taxis. The staff were so friendly and helpful, lovely breakfast, clean rooms and nice little pool and terrace area. Great little bar on the corner and amazing massage place just round the corner. Easy to get a taxi or tuk tuk from the bridge.
I liked the traditional style of building, much nicer than these impersonal corporate tower blocks!

This small hotel has everything for a nice stay in Bangkok, very quiet, in the city center so you can walk easy to the highlights, small swimmingpool, very good breakfast and a good restaurant. We arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning and we had already our room what what very nice after the night flight.
