Let me start by saying the hotel staff really goes out of their way to make sure you have a great stay. Supat in particular is very nice and helpful. The property is absolutely beautiful... and an amazing value for the very low price. The rooms are comfortable and decorated really well. There is also a kick [-] roof deck that overlooks the city. We didn't use the pool because it was right next to reception and we felt a bit funny, but that looked nice as well.
There are a few drawbacks to be aware of... most of all it's EXTREMELY difficult to find. It's not on a road, it's on a canal. Even if you make it to the nearest intersection, someone from the hotel has to meet you on the corner and guide you in. It took us 3 hours in a cab (2 of which were spent driving around/sitting in traffic in the general vicinity) until our cab driver found it. This was after he called the hotel directly and was given directions in Thai.
We stayed in 2 different rooms and neither had a hot shower. It was the type of shower that floods the whole bathroom (and the hallway outside if you don't remove the drain plugs). I understand it's a hot country, but after sightseeing all day in the hot sun it's nice to be able to take a hot shower.
The final annoying thing was the internet. They have 5 computers, but you can't just hop on one. You have to buy time... a minimum of 30 minutes. This wouldn't be so bad if you could use 5 minutes, log out and use it again later, but I tried that 3 times and my remaining 25 minutes were gone. I don't think it's too much to ask to have free internet. It's not like most people want to spend their entire vacation on line. We stayed in a hotel 3 times the size in Phuket that had 5 free computers and I never had to wait to get on one.
One last thing. The only difference between a 'standard' and 'junior' room is the 'junior' room has a television. You're lucky to get one station in English and that's only some of the time, so if this is why you're choosing a 'junior' room don't do it.
Anyway... overall a great place! Just make sure you have a really great map so you know where to get out of the cab!
