An Oasis in Chiang Mai, everything is very easy to reach. Whether you go for short times only 7 eleven (supermarket) or market. Not more than 5 min. removed. Laundry Bath for 30 per kilo (the equivalent of about 60 cents) around the corner. Wireless internet is available free of charge in almost all rooms. Many thanks to the management and staff Eurana.

Eurana is located at the northeast corner of the old city within city walls. The location is within Soi 7 and would cost $100 baht from the airport to get to. The location itself is okay because it is two blocks from the famous Thae Pae gate and the sunday night walking market, which I highly recommend while visiting. It is endless and there's tons of things to see. The other nearby city temples are also nearby if you wish to hike... I never really hired a tuk tuk or taxi because the old city itself within the walls is about 2km by 2km so I just walked 15 or so to where I needed to go. There are many things to do around the 3 blocks radius also, just head south.

The hotel do have a tour service which book tours for other companies. There is no exclusive tour service they go to, and you are able to browse many companies. Basically it's an information desk. I recommend elephant training, riding, the zoo and temple tours. I would avoid the Cattle cart ride as it is very disturbing how the animals are being treated. I would also recommend touring the highest peak in thailand and explore the forest there, it is very beautiful. You will need to cross the street from the tourist center while you're up there and the path wind down. You'll also get a great views from the same tour.

The rooms at Eurana are quite small but manageable. Don't expect 4 or 5 star quality and yes the outside looks a lot better than the inside the rooms, but it didn't bother me much. The internet access is also great.

I paid $32 usd per night through hotels.com, but breakfast was not included. Though many street vendors and restaurants are nearby so that wasn't a problem. If you're on a budget, the hotel across from Eurana have rooms for $500 baht per night plus internet, but don't expect nothing too extravagant, but it seems nice also.

I would recommend this place and would like stay again because of the location and the atmosphere there. Though the room were not as nice, the outside areas was and the people were really nice also...

Room Tip: They assign rooms types and location by letters. The rooms with pool views are newer, the old wing...

Have stayed several times ar this hotel. They have added more rooms so be aware that you may be places in a room in the old section. It is approx 15 min walk to centre of town but the weekend markets are only just down the road. Consider good value for money. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Was pleasantly surprised at how great the rooms were. I booked a superior room, but when we checked in, they had to upgrade us due to no superior rooms available. The deluxe room would be worth the extra few dollars! Big, bright, great bathroom, nice shower, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower, comfy beds, coffee/tea service in room, Flat screen TV, in room safe! All very good! Quiet! Even facing the pool. We were in room 307. Breakfast simple buffet style, but they had croissants, so nice touch! Staff friendly, English good.

Room Tip: I would personally book a deluxe room if you can afford it.

So so disappointing very tired hotel nothing like it show on the photos I am sure some of the backpackers hotels would be better then this boutique hotel as they call it and it would have been so nice to enjoy swimming pool but that is no joy so I am sorry to say DO NOT STAY HERE unless you are on very limited budget

As you walk into this hotel it is very nice but the room I stayed in was awful. I stayed in room 8 and it was very dirty. See the pictures. If you are going to stay here ask to see the room you will be staying in before you commit. Other rooms may be better but the room I was in was awful.

I also stayed at Baan Hanibah, which is one soi over, and it was absolutely delightful and the same price. I would definitely stay at the Baan Hanibah if they have available. Go there instead.

On a quiet soi but great location for walking around old city. 5 minute walk to Sunday walking st. Lots of restaurants and food stalls close by alongside usual 7/11 & tesco. We had a small problem when we arrived, they couldn't seem to find our booking but after a short wait they sorted it and upgraded our room. Large clean room, shower temp was up and down but otherwise ok. Breakfast good lots of choice, WiFi worked. Pool refreshing. Polite, friendly staff.
