the restaurant had such potential! the venue is spectacular.. however the food was average at best. everything was bland and we were the only ones in the restaurant, i'm not sure how it was possible that our food arrived cold?

This elegant restaurant is within a boutique hotel. All the food choose materials of very good quality, and taste very delicious. Whether the environment, the dishes are the best enjoyment. The only regret is the desserts too sweet, and not that special. 这个精品酒店附带的餐厅,静逸美好。选料考究,味道鲜美。无论是环境、菜品都是一流的享受。唯一遗憾是糖品太甜,不太出色。

My husband and I just spent three nights at the Rachamankha. We loved the hotel, the room was comfortable, the service was always attentive, the location is on a quiet street in the old city. We absolutely loved the food there and ate at the hotel all three evenings! The restaurant has an elegant and relaxed atmosphere, a good wine selection and delicious menu. We could not get enough of the young tea leaf salad!! We also hired the hotel car and driver for the day and saw many of the local attractions. We also enjoyed hanging out by the pool. This is a peaceful hotel full of antiques and charm, while not skimping on any amenities. We really enjoyed our time in Chiang Mai and can't wait to come back to Rachamankha!!

Spent four nights at Rachamankha. Had all four dinners at their restaurant. Why go anywhere else.

Laughed at Susan S's review in February. My wife ordered the same mushroom salad. I looked at it and said "Where are the mushrooms? She pointed out the long stringy mushrooms as Enoki etc. Guess all mushrooms aren't toadstools.

The food was exquisite all 4 nights. We covered the menu and nothing disappointed.

Final word on the wait staff. My wife and I have been travelling SE Asia at least 20 times in the last 15 years. They are attentive and STEATHLY quiet. You never hear them walking (leather shoes on concrete floors), all completed plates removed within 30 seconds. A wait staff member is always at attention observing the dining room.

Paul Walker, the manager, has assembled an amazing team at this boutique hotel.

The food was really spectacular, and the outdoor dining courtyard was so serene. They had musicians playing as well. We literally came back two nights in a row (without a reservation) because it was so good. Yum!
