“Super modern hotel. Loved it!”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Stayed here with my teenage children for 3 nights in August. Check-in was efficient, a little discussion about what room was available for us but we eventually agreed on a double with extra bed in a corner room with stunning views of the city and Doi Suthep. Room was huge, with plenty of storage and all modern amenities (apart from free wi-fi in room....much needed with 2 teenagers!) Bathroom was large with rainfall shower and huge bathtub, dual aspect windows provided views of the city from the bath.
Breakfast was perfectly fine for us, plenty of choices and service was efficient. Always seemed busy when we ate there so felt we needed to rush through to free up space.
Super pool area situated on the roof of the 4th floor. Perfect for a lounge in the sun and refreshing dip after a long day of sightseeing. Very attentive and friendly pool staff.
This hotel is situated in a great location, right next to the night market and central enough to explore the city by foot. Lots of temples to visit locally, would definatley recommend a trip up the mountain to visit Wat Doi Suthep.
Overall a super hotel, where we definatley stay again....just get the wi-fi in the rooms sorted ;-)

Room Tip: High floor with views of Doi Suthep. Corner rooms are best.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. They helped us plan our days out and gave us lots of useful information.

Had a great meal in the restaurant when we arrived and were asked to review the food and service that day. Later when we went back for another meal the food was definitely not as good and we were not asked to review the food and service again! Interesting...

Amazing rooms, a bathtub with a city view, professional staff and high quality wherever you look, which is in contrast to the otherwise quite ugly city. One of the best. If you are there be sure to eat at the favola Italian restaurant. Perfect.

1st, the location. It located at the center of chiang mai town, with night bazaar just across the street. The lobby is very spacious and relaxing, and access to room is full with security. The room very spacious, with the tv speaker also connected into bathroom, and let us can listen to the news while take bath. The only disadvantage of this hotel is no free wifi connection in the room, and also troublesome to connect at lobby, with username and password has to request from reception counter. Maybe can do a little bit changing for internet connection service, and this hotel is nearby perfect condition.

Room Tip: Luxury room and good view...

Stayed here for three nights in February 2014, two adults and three children. Very much a last minute booking, we asked for two adjoining rooms, but only availability was on a smoking floor, so without a fuss we were upgraded to a corner suite with an adjoining room for two of the kids, there was loads of space, comfortable beds, and a great view. Based close to the night market, we were able to explore much of the city by foot. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

PROS:

*Decent hotel and ambience

*Top location, situated right by the night market

*Breakfast with variety

*Super comfortable bed

CONS:

*Room door had poor noise isolation and shut loudly - you could always hear other people entering and exiting their rooms. We also happened to get a room with an adjoining door and could hear the guests in the other room whenever they spoke

*The complimentary wif-fi in the room consisted of a total of 15 minutes during your whole stay (the person checking us in gushed that it was free and we could use up to five devices but said nothing about the limited time)

*Corners in shower room and especially shower head could use good, extra cleaning

*There was a daily complimentary coffee in the lobby which was fussy to get for some reason. When I think of good and expected (frankly, sensible) service, I think that asking to have tea instead of coffee is no problem, but that they were unable to provide us with because it 'wasn't included'

Room Tip: Mountain view room

The lobby and bar are lovely and the massage at the spa was wonderful.
It would be nice if the rooms had wifi rather than having to come down to the lobby.
The bar had very slow service, but very friendly- all of the staff is kind and helpful.
The room I had was clean and nice; nothing spectacular.
The location, though, is great-- walk right out into the night market.
