Very good and clean!

We stayed for 4 nights in this guesthouse. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the service offered. Rooms were cleaned everyday and they even.changed towels everyday. The staff were very helpful and the laundry service was excellent. The guesthouse is located in a narrow road close to the main streets. Close by there is also a very good breakfast shop T Lounge. Would recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

We try to stay in budget accommodation to spend longer travelling. This place was a great find. Huge comfortable room. Bathroom a bit small and everything got wet when having a shower but this was a minor inconvenience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of cheap little restaurants close by if you want to avoid the tourist restaurants. Can thoroughly recommend MiniCost

I stayed here for a month in June while training Muay Thai at Team Quest Thailand in Chiang Mai; so I'm a bit late in adding my review. The owners, Laurie and Orapin were extremely helpful and eager to assist with any enquiries, including recommendations on tours, etc. The room was very large by Thai standards and immaculately clean at all times (cleaned daily); with air con, cable TV, good bathroom, comfortable bed. Location is close to Tae Pae Gate providing close proximity to the Sunday Walking Street market and walking access to the night markets and a multitude of restaurants; and easy access to Tuk-Tuks or red buses. Some extra points such as having a night staff on at all times and security cameras adds peace of mind when travelling. There are other cheaper options in Chiang Mai but I believe that the quality of the accommodation at Minicost when compared will be hard to beat. I'd recommend this accommodation to solo travellers, couples and families.

Stayed here for 2 nights - staff were very friendly, room spotless and huge. The only downside was the cost as they were asking 850 baht for one night and there are plenty other places in the area just as nice for a more reasonable price, try Awana house next door!

We stayed here for 4 days and had a really pleasent stay. The room was huge, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help us and give us advice on things to do and see in Chiang Mai.

We couldn't have asked for a better location. A 1 minute walk took us straight in to the walking market which was great. We were very close to restaurants, bars, markets etc. We didn't need taxi's or tuk-tuk's because walking was just so easy and convenient.

When I come back to Chiang Mai, I will definitely be staying here again. The price was very, very good and was worth every penny.

Hands down the best value for money accommodation I have stayed in during any visit to Thailand. The rooms are clean, big, great a/c, well decorated and have everything you need to make your stay in Chiang Mai that much better. I was there for 11 days and so glad I stay here.

The staff are friendly and willing to help with any request about what to see and do. It is a very short walk to Tae Pae gate, the Sunday market and basically anything you wanted to see in the old city.

You will find some awesome little restaurants 50m from the front doorstep and the old streets are great to explore and you will find some little gems in the old soi's.

I am back in Chiang Mai in February and won't consider staying anywhere else. I would recommend you do yourself a favour and do the same if you are staying in Chiang Mai
