“Great location, new owner just took over!”
Reviewed 29 March 2014 via mobile

We stayed for three nights at this place. When we arrived, new owners had just bought the place two days before so it was a bit unorganized. The new staff were very friendly and apologetic and are currently working on updating and painting. There was no breakfast as they had not organized that yet. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean, however the mattresses are very uncomfortable and hard. The location is great and I think when the new owners get things completed it will be a great spot to stay.

This zinn is great for people o na budget who want to be in the heart of the city. You can walk to anywhere from the guesthouse. The inn keeper speaks excellent english and is lovely. The facilities are clean (except for black hair everywhere but that cannot be avoided with no vacuums). There is a shower curtain and great air conditioning. The rooms in the front do get a bit loud (but you are downtown) at night but I sleep through anything so this was not a problem. Great choice would recommend!!

This little hotel looks nothing from the outside, but the rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. They provide a fridge, TV, air con, wardrobe, table and a comfortable chair. There's no fancy décor, but I found it quite adequate.

Room Tip: The front rooms have a balcony, but the rooms at the back are more quiet.

A basic but good value guesthouse within a few minutes walk of the Sunday Walking Street in the walled old city of Chiang Mai. Our room was large with a fridge and a balcony view towards Doi Suthep mountain. It was cleaned, and towels were changed every day. The bathroom was a reasonable size and the shower was curtained off at the end, not the wet room style common in many SE Asian guesthouses. Breakfast was a simple help yourself affair of toast and tea or coffee, we liked that the coffee was real from a bean-to-cup machine (i.e. Not Nescafe) and that there was no restriction on how much toast or how many cups of coffee you could have. We found all the staff to be friendly and happy to help, indeed when we wanted a cup of tea one evening (using our own mugs and teabags) the owner was happy to set up the water boiler for us.
On the downside, our room was at the front over the street and we got some street noise (not every night and never very late). As others have mentioned, the stairwells are a bit dingy and would probably benefit from a lick of paint but the decor in our room was fine and all the furniture in good condition.

I stayed in Na Inn for a week with my 66 year old mother. And I have to say it was the best hotel stay ever. The room was clean and very spacious, with the basic comforts - a big fridge, balcony, AC, wifi, and a dozen complimentary water bottles in the room. There is also a mini mart in the main floor for drinks and snacks. The location is excellent, in the center of the old city. Most major attractions like Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh, and the weekly night market are minutes walking distance. I could not have asked for a better deal for 650 baht a night.

The manager Maew Phirapa and staff were the friendliest, most helpful and genuine. They went above and beyond to meet our every need. They helped me with rental motorbike and planning our daily trips.

Our vacation was so awesome that we extended few more days, and only on our last day did we realise that we haven't booked our return trip to Bangkok, and our preferred coach was already full for the next few days. The night shift receptionist Decha himself drove me to the bus station in the morning so I could purchase tickets with a decent coach. Extraordinary personal service, after duty hours!!!

I cannot wait for a long vacation in Chiang Mai, and will definitely stay Na Inn. Their genuine hospitality and warmth beats the overrated services of 5star hotels.

We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of December in a twin room. The room was basic but clean. We got clean towels each day. The whole guest house seemed a little rundown, a new coat of paint would probably go a long way. The location was good, close to walking street on Sunday and not far from the night bizaar. Staff was friendly and helpful. Certainly not bad for the price (650 baht/night).

We stayed at NA Inn for 2 nights whist visitng Chiang Mai and it had everything we needed. The reception lady was very friendly hand always smiling was happy to help with any querys. The room was very big but basic and clean, beds were big and the shower was hot. The location is Great around 10 minutes walk to the main area such as the night market etc, a great little travel agents next door which we booked our treck with and couldn't fault the service provided. There wasn't breakfast included but you were able to make some toast and a hot drink in the lobby, the Inn was good for what we needed and had no complaints.
