“A truly hidden gem! The taste is, literally, far better than other big name ramen shops!”

The owner (Khun Phoom, คุณภูมิ) used to be an employee at Hideya ramen in Nimmanhemin road which now closed. Fortunately, he's opened his own shop. Surprisingly, his ramen is much more delicious than his previous Japanese employer's.

What I like the most here is the soup. The soup base is made from chicken and pork with good thickness and texture. The shop provides many soup flavors, Shoyu, Shio, Miso, and Dashi. There are 3 sizes of the dish (small, medium, large) which are different in the weight of the ramen noodle in one bowl. The ramen will be served with only one piece of chashu, so you should order extra chashu topping beforehand.

Personally, I've been eating ramens across the globe, including Japan, but I have never been as impressed as eating the ramen here. I've known this shop for 2 years, I go there at least once a week since then, even it's 30 km far from my home and lacks a parking space.

I strongly recommend this ramen shop. It's probably the best one I can find in Thailand.

I am a resident of Chiang Mai. I have travelled around the world and never missed a chance to try famous local foods, including those Michellin's guide ones, in the cities I visited. I believe HIDEYA RAMEN, Chiang Mai, is second to none in the ramen business. Soup and sliced BBQ porks here are amazing! Fried chicken with cool beers will enhance satisfaction of your meal.

Although I live 30km away from this restaurant, I regularly go there to get my yummy dinner there to please myself after work twice a week.

This is my favorite ramen in Chiang Mai - some of the best I've ever eaten. This is a one-man shop, owned and operated by a man that is very passionate about his food and takes great care when cooking his ramen. You can taste the quality of preparation and ingredients with every bite.

My favorite dish is the dashi ramen, but the miso ramen comes a close second. His gyoza is very good as well.

Look for the small 5 table shop with the Japanese lanterns - you will not be disappointed!
