“Perfect for families”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2014

We had only planned on staying one night but had such a good time decided to stay for another. The staff are so nice and attentive and the food at the restaurant is gorgeous. The Pool is also very welcome and brillant for kids. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is unfortunately the same as most other hotels in Thailand. They still advertise elephant trekking tours and elephant shows which after seeing how they are trained most people would avoid. Instead please look at visiting the elephant nature park which rescues elephants from these places and looks after them. If in any doubt please Google elephant training and then make your decision

we were here during Songkran festival and it was just nice for a few days stayed. Well, my Big boy did not like bed at all, it was kinda hard for him but me, i could manage..sabai sabai

The service and staffs are really helpful. We love they know their responsobilities well and keen enough what we need. Totally we gave 9/10 marks.

Breakfast including here..not too bad for Thai hotel standard..acceptable..no complaints and no complaints because we loved to get good coffee out of the hotel ieieieie

Both of us liked the design of the house and how the function gone in a studio room. there is a swimming pool - just like regular pool.

There are extra body treatments as typical tourists need lol but we prefer outside the hotel service as least we are not a paralysed lol

overall, good place to get for a shelter, moderate breakfast. If you booked through Agoda, you would get very good deal

if you had your own transportation, it would not a big deal. Anyway, you can get taxi service in font of the hotel. Not the big problem and don't be so accumulative if you came here for short vacations. - it is up to each one budget ^_^

try not to be in our comfort zone much, everything is so wonderful

We stayed in a family room for 4 nights and had a great time. The family was more than we expected as we had 2 bathrooms. The pool area was lovely and the breakfast was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, helping us organise trips and taxis to the centre. The hotel is out a bit from the old city so you need to get a "red van" or get reception to speak to the women opposite the hotel and she will organise someone to leave you into the city for 100bat. There's a free bus to the night bazaar every night at 8pm as well.

We stayed in May 2014 during the coup period for 3 nights. Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed in the family room (2 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms). We enjoyed our stay here very much, the kids especially enjoyed the two pools.

I understand it is rated a 3 star hotel so our expectations were at that level. The rooms were basic as expected but very clean and the aircon worked well. The staff always greated us with a smile and their english was clear. The buffet breakfast had good variety. We were given 4 bottles of water a day free which was great.

The only downside would be the showers in the rooms weren't upto much. One of them was a dribble at best. Pretty minor issue really.

This is a lovely hotel, lovely pool and great for relaxing. The staff cannot do enough to help you. We booked a couple tours and things with them and both went smoothly. There is a free shuttle bus at 8pm which is a great bonus. Big buffet breakfast and clean rooms make for a comfortable stay. We stayed an extra night just to relax around the hotel before we moved into Laos. Would certainly stay again.

When I was there, a dog on the other side of the road which was chained up kept barking for hours and hours. The dog looked like it didn't have an owner. I asked the manager who firstly lied to me and said she had no idea, then she admitted it was the hotel owners dog and that they had rescued it and were looking after it and feeding it. I asked her to keep the dog quiet during my stay and she refused saying that wasn't fair to the animal. I was amazed at her response and I would suggest before you book you visit the site to see if the dog is still there in a tent in the vacant block on the other side of the road. Also lots of construction all around. If you want to relax, don't stay here. Also too many cats and they fight outside your window at night.

Room Tip: When booking a deluxe, make sure you specify the deluxe, they tried to stick me in a normal deluxe w...
