Not much to say here. Just a few words: It's great !

Located in the old town, this hotel is really a gem. Staff makes you not only feel like a guest, but like a part of the "family". Rooms are very nice, though not overly big (have only tried the cheapest rooms), with a lovely bathroom (jacuzzi and shower included). Breakfast was nice, but no buffet option. You can choose what you want (thai breakfast or croissants), fruits, etc. from a card. Very nice. Airport transfer is also included in the price. The facility itself is also really nice, with a small pool and a very open design. Rooms in the upper half of the building have nice balconys, where you can have a look over the old town, while the sun comes out.

Believe the raving reviews ! This is a real gem !

Hotel is situated inside the Old City walls of Chiang Mai, very close to several restaurants, Sunday market, massage places. Ideal location for us with our 6yo son. A relaxed atmosphere, like a haven in Chiang Mai city. Staff can't do enough for you.
We checked in early and managed to get given an upgrade to a beautiful, colonial, wood panelled room with a jacuzzi and separate living area. This room is huge and leads straight out onto the pool on the ground floor. Pool is small and shallow (albeit cold), perfect for our son to swim in while we sunbathe.
We saw a few of the larger hotels near the river, however they were surrounded by the seedy bars and some commercial restaurants, none of which we found within the walled city.
We hope to come back here in the near future. It's like a home away from home.

If I came back to Chiang Mai anytime in my life, I would definetely stay at Sirilanna hotel again. I went with my two best friends and we stayed there for three nights.

Our first impression was excellent. The hotel is a typical Asian building and the room was beautifully decorated in a Thai style. There was a little fridge with drinks and some chocolate bars and it contained two free bottles of water for us. It had a great balcony with a wooden bench overlooking the beautiful swimming pool area. The television didn't offer many channels but it wasn't a problem since we didn't have time to watch it. The bathroom was amazing. There was a shower and also a jacuzzi, hair drier, body milk, shampoo and soap (the bottles were very cute, also in a Thai style).

Breakfast was very good. It wasn't a buffet but they had American (eggs, sausages and bacon), Asian (fried or boiled rice with chicken or pork) and contiental breakfast (pancakes, toasts or pastries). They were accopanied by coffee or tea, juice and bread with butter and pineapple, orange or strawberry jam. Breakfast is served in an area next to the lobby while watching the fish in a pond or in the swimming pool.

The swimming pool had a little chill-out place where you can have a cool smoothie or read a magazine.

There is also an Internet room, which is free and it had three or four computers and some bookcases with books in English.

The girls in the lobby where very nice. I remember their names, Aor, Ice and Nancy because they were very friendly and helpful. Sofia helped us to book some day-trips to ride elephants and visit the area. The boys who served breakfast and took us to the airport were very agreeable too.

On the other hand, the hotel is very well located, only 15 minutes from the airport and it counts with a free shuttle service that you have to book previously. It is near all the important temples in the city and there are plenty of cheap and good restaurants and tour agencies around the hotel.

This is a very good hotel for families, couples or friends. It has a relaxing atmosphere in a very delightful town. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful and charming hotels where I have ever stayed.

This Hotel is really a good experience and good value for money.
We had a very large room lanna style. This was really clean with a very attractive bathrooms. Beds are almost confortable.
There is a small swimming pool but really fresh...and opened 24hours.
The service is excellent and people Will really do their best for your stay.
In addition it is really well situated in the old city. They propose a free shutle to the airport.

What makes Sirilanna a terrific place to stay is the service. Sophia was very helpful with arranging for tours and transportation. Our room was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but it was very tastfully decorated. The staff did eveything to please, and the location is quiet and convenient. We ate two meals at Hot Chili, Sophia's recommendation, and had some of the best Thai food on our trip through Thailand. We also had arranged for airport pickup, which did not happen, but other than that, our stay at Sirilanna was great.

We stayed 6 nights at Sirilanna and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is small but with a extremely tasteful interior combining the best of Western and Asian style. The staff is helpful and friendly and it is a good idea to book the trips around Chaing Mai at the hotel. They know how to avoid tourist traps and where to get best value for money. Nice swimming pool and beautiful decorated spacious rooms. Breakfast is served at the tables and it is possible to choose beteween several dishes. The hotel is located in the old town and in a very tranquil area.

The only reason we haven't rated this hotel excellent is because after 24hours travelling, they did not pick us up from the airport as we had arranged over email.
Having said that, they were very apologetic and the service from then on was 5*!
Brilliant location - round the corner from the sunday walking street!
Breakfast was cooked to order not buffet style but you still got your moneys worth. Staff were really friendly but did push certain activities/restaurants on you presumably for their commission.
Overall really beautiful decor and we would stay again despite the small (I must stress the small) problems we experienced!
