We loved it here, the staff were wonderful and welcoming, the location was great, the pool was lovely after a long day out.

This hotel was nice! I don't have really complaints. The rooms face each other so the privacy requires closed curtains! But not a big deal.

I had a room overlooking the pool. And a room over looking the street.
Get the room facing the pool. It's way bigger, nicer and quieter.

Loved the pool, super nice. Cold though.

Nice staff and above average breakfast. Great location too!

Room Tip: Get a room facing the pool

Stayed here for two nights.

Location is good - just inside Thapae Gate, but down a quiet lane so not much traffic noise. Lots of restaurant options around there from local places for the locals to more tourist oriented options.

Room - clean, large with an extra bed under the window. Safe, hanging space, luggage space, dark at night, comfy bed. Bathroom was clean and shower hot and strong. Good wi-fi connection. Every room has a balcony with a day bed that overhangs the pool / central courtyard.

Breakfast was average. Toast, fruit and juice. Hot food looked pretty average to me - didn't try it because it looked unappetising.

Service - friendly helpful service. English understood quite well. Staff are young and can be a bit noisy in reception at times. But a minor issue and overall service was good.

Pool - pool is kind of small for any real swimming but big enough for a refreshing dip. There are day bed lounges adjacent to the pool which are great for chilling out on. Only drawback for me with the pool was that with the buildings around, it gets very little sun. Shaded most of the day, so a little chilly and you can't really enjoy sunning yourself there.

Privacy - In room privacy is poor. Non-existent in fact with the curtains open. The rooms are built in two blocks that face each other with the pool in the middle. Every room faces inwards towards the pool. Soooooo - when you're in your room you look straight across into the rooms opposite and vice versa. If you want to hang out in your room or on your balcony then you have to be prepared to be observed from other rooms and balconies. Either that or shut the curtains which is not what I want to do during the day. I like to have natural light during daylight hours.
This was a significant negative for me.

Value for money - average. For the money it was acceptable. Not great. I felt it was slightly overpriced for how much I enjoyed it.

Average breakfast, lack of privacy, average value - so 3.5 stars for me. Would go back but would look for other options if back in Chiang Mai.

Located in a small lane. All room are facing to each other hence you can be easily seem by others. Housekeeping is bad, ants in the room and mosquitoes at night. Breakfast is bad. Stay for 1 night and change hotel straight.

This Hotel has the perfect location, you only walk 3 min and are right in the middle of the action. But the hotel itself is located in a quiet soi and a good night sleep is guaranteed. We had a standard room ($56) with balcony facing the pool. The room was basic but it had everything we needed, a comfy bed, safe deposit box, nice balcony with daybed, A/C and breakfast included. Try the local restaurant across the street, they offer fresh grilled tilapia fish for only $3. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the pool
