We went to this spot on a recommendation from a traveller we were chatting with on another excursion. What a FIND! We hired a taxi to take us there from Chiang Mai and found when we got there that there was only one other family present. The falls are amazing with the non slip surface of the rocks an absolute marvel. You feel like spiderman walking up them and the location is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The journey takes a little over an hour and you can easily spend a couple of hours just enjoying the place. I highly recommend taking swimming clothes, camera, water, and a picnic lunch as there are only snack foods available there. We took lots of photos but none do justice to the experience of being there. At the moment it seems to be a hidden gem but I can see it being 'discovered' by more people in the near future.

This is a very special waterfall and it's worth to spend a day there. The climbing was a little bit sticky after a while but it's still worth it. Go go go!!!!

This was a relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of the city. About a 90 minute drive in an air-conditioned van made the trip quite pleasant. Facilities are limited but that is offset by the free admission to the falls. It's quite easy to traverse up and down these limestone falls but we do recommend taking water shoes along.

I'm not sure why but Thai people really seem to love waterfalls. This has resulted in me spending countless hours seeing mediocre or even dry waterfalls all over Thailand.

This waterfall was an altogether different experience. It was a great day, a very different waterfall and totally worth the effort to see it (40 minute drive).

Tips, bring swimmers, bring your own food (restaurant will be bad or closed). As you come along the entrance road to the waterfall, there is a very interesting cave (after climbing about 250 stairs). You don't need a guide, it's just one large chamber with a great Buddha. You can turn the lights on yourself. Do this before the waterfall as it is a sweaty climb. The cave is a turn to the right about 100m before the waterfall car park. You can see the stairs from the road.

what a wonderful day when we had one day trip together

Remembered when I was a campus student, we always visited here once a year for retreat.

It is really worthy to be here for hang out with friends and family..just make our own picnic and do something is called light outing lol. not too adventurous

you have a whole day to explore 7 colored spring and climb up and play waterfall which has 7 steps

Getting somewhere to have a nap or foodie time

try to get a day off and drag yourself from social network, make us to be in real world

Truly Blessed Day
