We stayed in the Chiang May Guesthouse from 02/11/12 to 07/11/12. We had two room's: one single (with big double bed and aircon) and one "superior" room with aircon (rooms no: 1 and 2). There are some fan rooms as well but we haven't seen those so cannot comment.
Guest house is located in the hart of the city just outside The Pee Gate. This is excellent location especially if you there for a weekend as there is huge night market on Sunday night just round the corner. Its also walking or cycling distance from main city attractions.
Rooms are clean and pleasant although they need some refurbishment soon (we was told that the new owner will take care of this very soon). The superior room is just enormous. It has a couch and TV as well as en-suit bathroom with power shower.
We did spent some time with the new owner, lovely young Thai girl. Although she speaks limited English, she is very nice and helpful. She quickly arranged all the activities we wanted to do in Chiang Mai, Got some excellent advise about tours and even took us for a whole day trip around Chiang Mai.
We would recommend this place to any traveller. It could be to basic for business but single, couple or group travellers will no doubt enjoy it.More
