All the staff paid great attention for me to be staying with them relaxing.
The location, rooms, and the food served heartly by them were all lovely.

I could like to come back to this Guesthouse in the future (hopely soon)!

We wanted an authentic Thai experience in Chiang Mai, and we got it! We stayed in the Treehouse, which was an unforgettable experience. But, be warned, it gets very hot during the day in the treehouse. At night, it's completely comfortable with the fans on. And bugs were never an issue. Our friends stayed in one of the rooms with A/C, and it was very nice. Every morning, we looked forward to a delicious homemade, multi course breakfast. I had the pleasure of practicing yoga with Adi in the newly-built activity center across the street.

We stayed at BaanBooLoo in May and really enjoyed this hotel. We were coming back from a trek of 3 days and it felt like arriving in paradise... The hotel is well located in a calm street very close to Wat Pra Singh.
We stayed in the Poh-Lieng room and it was just perfect. Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, beautiful garden and great service. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Chiang Mai.

The most beautiful natural setting and such a traditional homely Thai experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the service was 5 star with a personal touch. I shall never forget the time i spent here and hope one day i will be able to return. Many thanks to Adisak and his staff.

My husband and I recently stayed for two weeks at Baan Boo Loo and are already planning a return trip next year. It is a traditional teak house on stilts and the rooms are all indivdual and beautifully presented (we had the "Honeymoon Room" which had a lovely outdoor showe, bath and seating area.. Orn was a wonderful hostess and took great care that we were comfortable...fresh flowers, tea and fruit when we returned each day and a great selection of Western and Thai breakfasts. It was like staying in an oasis of calm and comfort, yet just a few minutes walk to the restaurants, shop etc. I really can't recommend highly enough and am looking forward to my nect stay there.

Room Tip: All good but honeymoon room is great for couples.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon and we had the most wonderful time. The rooms are beautiful as we love the open air aspect of it. One of the best part is the breakfast in the morning. Always to much amazing food every morning. The location is great especially if you are looking to stay in a nice quiet part of the old city. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Each room is unique and beautiful! If you have a choice stay in the Baan Khao which is an open air r...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
A unique small Thai country village style guesthouse with surrounding wooden villas, hammocks, country garden, outdoor lounges with lots of arts and wood carvings. Visitors should be aware that this is a very natural setting. There are many kinds of creatures in the gardens Some bathrooms are semi open air and mosquitos are omnipresent as in the most part of Chiang Mai. We use mosquito netting in bedrooms as well as using air-conditioning, fans and mosquito repellents and creams free of charge. Guests are advised to wear loose fitting clothing with long sleeves and leg coverings in the early mornings and early evenings or to use a good strength anti mosquito spray. Sunny daytimes are mostly mosquito free. Hard to believe but BaanBooLOo Village seems completely cut off from the noise of the city centre yet is only 15 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport. It is without question the quietest location in all of central Chiang Mai. We are in the central historic Old City Inner Moat area just 5 minutes walk from the major landmark Wat Pra Singh temple known by all in Chiang Mai. We provide a comprehensive and hearty Thai and International breakfast from 7am until 10am. We do cater for early start breakfasts and special dietary needs. Guests are recommended to discuss any special needs upon check-in. We have a quiet policy after 10pm as these are wooden houses and respect for neighbours is paramount. We also have an outdoor late lounge area with music and drinks until around midnight which is separate from guest rooms to avoid sleep disturbance. There are late night bars, jazz club and eateries all within 20 minutes walk or a short tuk tuk ride for around 100 baht. Most venues are open until around 1am. A handful are open until the early hours. Our concierge service includes helping guests to plan activities/spas/trekking plus advice on events in and around the city. This service is impartial and is included in the room charge. We would never recommend tourist service companies with animal cruelty reputations. BaanBooLOo Village is a 'green' environmentally friendly organisation evolving gradually. Our long term goal is to create a green oasis in the form of a living museum in the historic old city walls. ... more   less
