This has been my favourite hostel so far during my travels in Indonesia, borneo, and thailand. I wish I could take it with me! The staff are very friendly and helpful, will give information and organize any tours or activities. The dorms are really cheap (110 baht per night), but very clean and quiet. I stayed here for five days, and another two after Pai.
The food at Diva's restaurant is great, the breakfast is relatively cheap and it will fill you up. The location is terrific, close to the Saturday market, and to the street where all the street food vendors set up at night. I highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: The dorm rooms are a fan cooled, some nights were really hot. You can splurge for 160 baht and get a...

We stayed here for 4 nights, 3 in the fan-cooled dorms and 1 in a private room (as we wanted space to pack our ridiculous amount of stuff). The prices are crazy low (110baht a night per dorm), yet our experience was flawless. Dorms were clean and comfortable, location was brilliant but most importantly the staff there were angelic! They were so incredibly helpful in planning our various activities in Chiang Mai,
giving honest advice about which elephant sanctuaries to go to find well-treated elephants and reliable companies. They also paid it the upfront coat for us and let us pay upon checking out. To add a couple of other positives, they gave us a free massage and there is a nice common area. Truly recommend this hostel as we just felt so amazingly welcome and well looked after! Thanks Divas!

Overall not much to add to all the other great positive reviews. Stayed here in June 2014 for 3 nights and enjoyed clean rooms, great location, and great hospitality. Lots of places to mingle and social so very easy to meet fellow backpackers too. Great budget place and would definitely recommend and come back to in the future. As always, a bit pushy with booking tours and such but that is pretty standard across Thailand.

I stayed here for 3 days and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Firstly the staff are so friendly, they are happy and welcoming. When it comes to booking tours or any travel they are helpful without ripping you off. Hêre the dorm rooms are nice enough with fans. It is cheap and the showers are good. I actually recommend the extra shower in the communal toilet as it is much more powerful. The food here is good and very good price. You just write in a little book and settle the bill at the end which is nice although can't imagine having this system in the west but apparently no one has ever left without paying which is great. 100% would recommend

We stayed here on 2 different occasions. The staff and "Mom" as we called her knew our name and drinks (big bonus) from the second we walked in. They helped coordinate and plan everything for us which made the stay so easy.

Like any hostel, the beds could always be improved but the amenities and company make this a great place to stay for a few days. They treat you right!

Room Tip: Depending on the time of year, spring for the AC with a group.

We stayed here for two nights; it's nice and not a bad price but we found somewhere far better for the same price. The staff seemed nice but they majorly ripped us off with arranging tuk tuks and the 2nd time we got one, the sorted it for us but they driver dropped us off in the total wrong place, took our money and drove off. Most definitely don't use the staff for help!
