Stayed here for 3 nights Xmas week at this relatively new boutique hotel whose buildings have a long history. Our room and bathroom areas were large, the mattress was quite comfortable and the atmosphere was wonderful. Lots of electrical outlets which were compatible with USA electronics. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and looked forward to it every morning. Delicious food, great service and lots of choices. The pool area was gorgeous, although the temperatures did not permit going in the water. Front desk staff was very attentive. I wish I were there right now!

the hotel was very nice, beautifuk and spacious rooms, wonderful bathrooms, with inside and outside shower, loggia.
The whole hotel was very stylish, wonderful garden and nice place to sit for breakfast.
only the breakfast was average, ok, but nothing special. and also the service could be a bit improved.

all in all - perfect - wonderful place to stay.

This hotel is outstanding for someone looking for a luxurious place to stay. You could never tell that this place existed from the street. The grounds are incredible along with the staff. The tours they book are commiserate with the standard of the hotel. It is truly a beautiful place to stay and relax.

We stayed at the pillar house on December last year. It was a lovely nice thai style hotel. If you love the quiet environment, it is a good high away from chaotic in town. The food was good and the staffs are very helpful. I love the dressing room and the bathroom, very big and comes with outdoor shower. However, during the stay there was a wedding and party function at the hotel. I think it is quite distracting.

Khob khun krub and thank you for your recent stay and your compliments about the hotel and our services.

137 Pillars House is a truly peaceful & luxurious oasis in a bustling city. The staff were accommodating and friendly, the room was enormous and luxurious and the whole feel of the hotel exudes sophistication. I can't fault the hotel in any way - decor, staff, spa, position and everything about it was perfect. My only comment for possible improvement would be to have a different menu for lunch and dinner. The menu does not change and feel that for lunch some lighter options would be beneficial.

Three American friends were warmly welcomed by the staff of this hotel upon arrival. They were gracious hosts and extremely accomodating-happily setting up reservations for our excursions, dinners, etc. The property is quaint and beautiful. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Although a galaxy away from huge and chaotic Bangkok, Chiang Mai is a lively and groovy city. This property is an excellent way to find an extremely quite and peaceful haven of calm in the hearth of the urban center.

Built around a fully refurbished colonial house (really a fantastic building), the hotel is designed with a great taste, and it gives the guests the impression of being in the middle of a tropical forest.

Our room was large and comfortable (the large balcony and the bathroom were an highlight), the staff was helpful and friendly and the spa services were excellent. Definitely a thumbs up for travelers looking for a luxury place in an extremely easygoing city.

The only hitch was a (very loud) Thai Wedding which took place on the site... starting at 07h00 AM with a lady speaking in a loudspeaker! Luckily this did not last very long, and in no way changed our (very) positive impression of this lovely property!

Dear Friends,

I am most pleased that we were able offering you some peace and luxury, which must be quite different from your daily routine, living in Baghdad, Iraq! Thank you for your kind words of praise.

With regards to the wedding taking place rather early in the day, I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. While we will continue making the hotel available for non-resident guests as well, I will work with the team to ensure that this is done at less disturbing hours of the day.

Wishing you the very best for 2104,

Respectfully yours,
