I came to Namo as a gym bunny but complete beginner to Yoga and was welcomed no problem. It's a really lovely studio, really friendly staff and a cute foot wash area to wash your feet before going to class. I practiced with Rogelio (can't spell his name sorry), Pierre, Stefani and Esther and experienced completely different style classes with each one. I would buy a five class pass and just drop in most days. Thank you Namo for introducing me to your beautiful practice, I've kept it up and am getting the hang of it! I genuinely hope to visit Chiang Mai again and come to your studio.

Ive been in and out of Chiang Mai the past couple months and was attending classes at Namo during each stay. As i state above theres quite a range of teachers, meaning, some are lovely and into really thoughtful instruction, some are really invested in helping pretty girls "stretch", and some are kind of rude and obnoxious. BUT, every class i went to was in fact really strong and good instruction. I always left covered in sweat and feeling really open and focused. So i definitely recommend the place, just keep an easy spirit and open mind when it comes to the teacher.

Don't follow the map on the website. Here are simple instructions for those of you who don't want to ride around for 20 minutes and miss the class: From Tha Phae gate inside the moat head north. Soi 4 (which looks like a little alley) will be on your left. Studio is At the end of that alley.

I stayed in Chiang Mai for about a week an I have really enjoyed taking classes at Namo yoga studio. There is a good amount of classes through out the day... Good selection of teachers. There is a veggie cafe next door to grab a juice or a treat after class.
