“Newly redone, still working out some kinks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014 via mobile

We were supposed to stay at Yak Guesthouse but they overbooked us and directed my small group here--and I'm so happy they did. Newly redone, the whole place has had a facelift and looks clean and fresh. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A lot of the logistics were harder than they needed to be--ordering a taxi or breakfast was a feat--but hopefully they work these out.

We stayed at this B&B for 1 night after moving from a very basic hostel. The room was nice, comfy beds, big bathroom, fridge, safe, complimentary bottles of water, breakfast and VERY friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a triple room for £5 each a night and i would certainly recommend this, it's worth the extra £3
Each to upgrade from a basic hostel. Good location.

I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel. It is a real budget hotel. We stayed on the ground floor in a triple room and found it to be very noisy, but our friends who stayed upstairs said they had no issues with noise at all. A couple of nights a barking dog woke us up at 4 am. The rooms were clean. The bathroom is a little awkward because it had toilet & shower & sink all together. As another reviewer mentioned, there were some insects in the toilet, but I thought it was ok since we were on the ground floor and there was a window opened in the bathroom. They were not bothersome or anything. The breakfast was just enough to get you going in the morning....fresh coffee, toast, cereal, fruit. Free WiFi was great and very fast.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the ground floor, choose rooms upstairs.

The room was fine -- decently clean and a good size. The bathroom was an all-in-one shower/toilet/sink and the floor was perpetually wet and sort of gross. There were quite a few bugs (mosquitoes?) in the room. The location is good, in the center of Chiang Mai, but not great as it is on a minor side street where there were always "soi dogs". For the price, it was an ok value.

I stayed in Anoma 2 B&B in september'13 for 5 days. I liked it a lot. It was like a big family and staff were very friendly. I were alone and somebody tried to hlep me.
It's confortable and peacefull.

Room Tip: There are rooms next to the street, but the street is peacefull, there's no problem with noise.

I spent a couple of nights at Natlen and was pleased. I paid 450 baht/night for an attractive fan room. The bed was quite firm, but not excessively so. The room was pleasantly decorated. I was on the top floor and had a view out to Doi Suthep and several wats. It's a on quiet soi; street noise is not an issue. This is a solid, reasonably priced choice.
