This place is one you go to for the ambiance. Their man made rain forest is amazing. The place is huge and definitely warrants wandering around a bit to see all they have done in creating a restaurant that blends nature and a dining experience well.

There are tons of staff, which helps keep things moving, but overall the food was mediocre. Prices are a bit high, but not surprisingly so given what it must cost to keep this place up, which they do very well.

Worth going once for the experience.

This place is a fair ride from the town and I am not sure if you would take it on if you had a car full of hungry kids (we didn’t have any with us this time) but the place would be most fun for them. It is rather huge area and it is not as romantic as we were led to believe but its outdoors and the space between the tables is big enough to feel secluded. Well at least not overheard.
Now usually when you are handed a laminated menu in the thickness of the certain religious Book your initial thought is how can I get out of here without making a scene. Having just sent our taxi away to be picked up in 2h we had no choice but to stay. And glad we were we did. The drinks (we only tried non-alcoholic ones) were great, just remember to ask not to add any sugar (unless you prefer). The food came quickly, portions were very generous and it was delicious!
The service was quick and friendly too, so although it was a bit kitsch I would still recommend to have a dinner there, especially if you have kids with you as they can run wild.
In the evening don’t forget to bring your mosquito repellent as they are all out for dinner too!

Very small portions and VERY expensive. Food honestly tasted disgusting and I would not recommend anybody come here. Picture believe shows how much food we had to leave as it wasn’t nice. Ordered some chicken as a side and look at the pictures how it came out, even had feathers still in it, I don’t know how anybody could not be out off eating that, not to mention the claws sticking out, absolutely vile. Service was very slow and waited so long that I had to go up and pay the bill myself as they had taken so long our taxi turned up, only to find all of the staff sat on a table together messing around. Worst restaurant.

It’s very large with a central pavilion and smaller eating areas around the outside. It’s busy, but the staff works to keep things running smoothly. There were 5 of us, so we ordered Tom Yum Goong and 3 other dishes - all were good. It was Chinese New Year and there was a constant parade of Chinese family groups. Staff worked to pay attention to everyone.
The gardens are beautiful and everyone takes a lot of photos. Part of the fun of eating here!
Prices are a bit expensive, but we consider this a “splurge” restaurant.
We had taken a car to the Paper Village (10 k) where we bought many paper gift bags and note cards. on the way back to CM we planned to eat at Khaomao (5 k) from CM.
All in all, a lovely day!
