Across the rode from the Night Markets. Comfortable bed. Lovely hot water in the shower. Would like 2 chairs instead of 1 in the room & a greater range of English TV programms. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Had a room overlooking the market area - good view.

Recent four day visit was enjoyable. Probably a 4 star Asian rating. First room was not acceptable but they graciously moved us to a better room.
Price through Agoda was only about $100 pr night and location was directly across from Night Market.
Staff was very accommodating . Not the Taj Mahal but not bad. Location , location!

I stayed here for 5 nights in September. This was my first visit since 2009 and i am happy to say that I wasn't disappointed.
I foind the room to be comfortable and well appointed. The staff were pleasant and efficient. I made use of the restaurant and bar on several occasions and it was always an enjoyable experience. The breakfast is very good with a good rannge of Western and Asian options.
This hotel is in a good location, very central and within comfortable walking distance of many bars, restaurants, markets etc

Nice older Hotel, All staff was great !!! Rooms were old, carpet was dirty and spotted. We asked for someone to shampoo clean the carpet and it was just vacuumed instead of shampooed, I guess something got lost in the translation.. LOL. The TV was acting up but no body fixed it, all other little problems were fix right away. We were there for 10 nights and it was a real good location for the night market and local shopping . There was a free shuttle to the airport mall that ran every hour or so. If you go ask for a room in the back and a remolded room and you will be happy.. Also go see Yai and the tour desk she is fantastic !!!!

Room Tip: Rear upper floors and remolded.

Thank you for your time and comment to which we shared with all staff members.

Cleanness of areas is a must and we re-train our staff to see and feel it before guests see those points.

Changing carpet is one of our next year renovation plan as wel.

Once again many thanks and look forward to welcoming you back to our Royal Princess Chiangmai soon.

Sincerely yours,

This hotel is in a great position in the heart of the night markets and a short walk to within the old city across the moat. Although chiang Mai is so busy at night there is no noise at all inside.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The room was large with a vast, comfortable, pristine bed [sheets were changed each day]. It was all very clean except for the carpets, which were a bit past it! Unfortunately our shower ran down on to the floor so we had to keep placing a rolled up towel in the corner to prevent floods!
There is a good pool with towels & sunbeds which is welcome at the end of a hard day's sightseeing!
Breakfast was lovely. We didn't use the bar, as there are so many places to go nearby!

Room Tip: There are no balconies or views, as far as I know. Our room looked out on a concrete wall. we spent most of our time out and about so it was irrelevent.

The carpet will be changed and will not use light color during our next year renovation.
