Nice hotel in the heart of the night markets. Close to everything. Good value for money with a full buffet breakfast included every morning and a newspaper delivered to our room everyday. When we arrived we found our toilet leaked, they sent someone up to fix it. We went out and when we returned later we found it was still leaking. We went down and told them at reception and they had us in our new room in a matter of minutes.

This hotel is located near the night market so everything is within walking distance. This is a plus (not having to haggle with tuk-tuk drivers). The rooms are bit pricy for the quality. The breakfast is not worth paying for if it is not included with your room. The staff was very friendly, which is common for most hotels in Thailand. That being said, I knew I was going into a lower-end hotel when I booked the room. However, I have stayed at nicer hotels in Thailand for a cheaper price so this hotel did not meet my expectations. You pay for the location here; if you only go for a four day trip like I did, and you plan to shop a lot, then take this room as you won't spend much time in it :-)

Stayed at this hotel in march for 4 nights. The price we paid was very very cheap, so I can't complain about anything. The hotel was spotless, the room we had was quite large, with everything we needed, the only thing that let the our room down, was the bathroom, it really needed a makeover, and the towels, although very clean, had seen better days. We didn't hear any noise at all during our stay, and, although we were quite close to the exit door to the swimming pool, we were never disturbed by it opening and shutting. The breakfast was included in our package, and the choice and quality was of a better standard than the hotel we had just left in Bangkok ( which had a higher star rating ) As stated before, by others, it was very central for everything. We booked our trips where we had our laundry done, both very cheap, we also visited the Zoo, which was a very good one, with an amazing Aquarium. The staff were friendly enough, but there again, I don't expect them to be fussing all over me, we would stay there again.

My sister and I stayed there in October 2009 for 5 nights. Great location for shopping and food outlets, especially if you don't eat asian food. Hotel was in need of some repair and revamp especially bathroom, a few broken tiles. Paint peeling of allway walls. Pool area and gym a bit to be desire. would not use gym.. We booked for deluxe room but were told we were going to be upgraded. If we were upgraded, hate to see what the budget room would have been. We overlooked a back alley. Staff not very pleasant. and a trifle rude. Could not understand English very well and continued to laugh at you as you were trying to explain something. But I have found that is the case in a lot in Thailand hotels and shops alike. Nice lobby and breakfast was good. Good "Green Shuttle Bus" was handy if you wanted to get to large shopping mall - "Centralworld". Would recommend for location, shopping and breakfast. Don't know if I would stay there again. Don't be fooled by the brochure. Very small, dark and narrow hallways. Good internet cafe across road. One baht per minute. Nice people can do laundry for you. Also his restaurant seemed to be popular.

At first we got a regular room but very noisy due to the construction site next to the hotel.
There were no more decent "no smoking" rooms available, so they offered us to check a room in a smoking floor. It was OK, so we took it.
Other than that no problems, great breakfast, friendly staff, a very good travel agency inside the hotel...it was a great time.

The beds were really uncomfortable and the place looked rundown. The only plus was that it is so close to the night market. The pool area was not very inviting either.
