Very reasonable place for the low price, good for budget travellers. We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were basic but OK, clean,, good WiFi, in-house massage in the evening if you wish so. Owners are nice, friendly, helped us with finding taxi drivers and organizing excursions.

Hostel itself is within old town walls, 100m from Wat Phra Sing temple, all other old town attractions are mostly in the walking range. Many restaurants around, local and foreigner-oriented.

In general - nothing particularly special, but good place to spend few days in Chiang Mai saving money for other attractions.

Room Tip: try to get room not facing main street, could be a bit noisy

Perfect place for backpackers, in the center of Chiang Mai, very cheap and familiar. Room very basic, but good enough if you are not demanding. Quite comfortable, large bed. The downside was temperature in the room. The window facing the corridor and a fan instead of a/c meant that there was really really hot.

Stayed here for 3 nights and then again 4 nights after our trip to Pai. Its family owned and they are very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage, did our laundry and arrange our elephant tour. Rooms are basic, its not a 5* hotel, its in somebodys home and at £5 a night you can't beat it. Would definitely stay here again. Location is spot on!

The hosts live on ground floor, they are very nice and friendly. They can speak English and the wife can even speak Cantonese. The room is basic and clean, with fan and TV. As I travelled in Jan, so the weather was very comfortable without AC, didn't even need to use the fan. Shared bathroom without soap and toilet paper, so you better take your own. Restaurants are in walking distance. They have tour packages and laundry service, the price is reasonable. Economic stay, recommended for backpackers.

The Guesthouse is ran by a young couple. Both very nice, kind and helpful. They both speak good English. Very economic stay, excellent for backpackers and low budget holidays. Perfect location to start a bicycle tour of Chiang Mai. They will also help you to book tours and activities in Chiang Mai. We also had our laundry done, perfect service! Highly recommended.

I had booked for two nights but ended up leaving after only half night. I wasn't able to sleep at all since it was extremely noisy and windows did not have any glasses. The rooms are not clean, quite sure the owner does not wash the linen or blankets - e.g. I was asked if I wanted a blanket and I answered yes. The blanket I got was dirty. The floor in the rooms seemed dirty as well. The bathroom had no hand soap or toilet paper, wet floor. A big I am usually a very polite person and can accept a lot but this place was so terrible that I just could not be quite. I warn everyone to stay away. There are much better places in the area that are at the same price and offer at least cleanliness.

This is a value for money place. The rooms are comfortable and the hosts, although live on ground floor, are non intrusive

The place is located slightly away from the gateway but is walking distance to several restaurants and few wats. There are places where you can book night bike tour and famous dragon flight in the neighborhood of the guest house
