We ate here a few times during our stay at D2.
The service was 5 star with the staff speaking excellent English and knowing what was in the food (to organise my GF needs).

Start with the cocktails - its very hard to pick from the extensive menu.

I recommend you get some appetisers are they're fantastic: we had the seawood wrapped tuna and fresh spring rolls. The presentation of all the dishes is superb.
The papaya salad pad thai, green curry and kho sao flavours were spot on.
We even had the pizza one night (which is cheaper than pizza hut and much better!).

Yes it's not cheap at just under $10 a main, but we had just come from Kho Samui where these prices were the norm. Appetisers, drinks and mains came to about $60 for two. After eating out for less than $8 for two another night, we were happy to pay for top quality meals from Moxie again.

We ate alot of Thai at varying price points throughout our month long trip in Thailand and this was up there was the best!

I had a dinner with some friends.
Althougt the place has a good reputation it was empty. I think the resto is overated. The food was well presented but nothing special. The portions were small and all the dishes had prices that you can find in NY or London.
Service was very professional and friendly. The enviroment is poor. Nothing unique and special.

This restaurant is located in the hip D2 hotel in Chiang Mai. It has a nice modern look to it, and the food was very good. Service was prompt and attentive. Feeling good, we got the check. It translated to $60US for two, with no alcohol. That's high for Chiang Mai, or so we thought.

We read some very good review of this restaurant and decided we had to try it. The place is very big, modern and very beautiful. To our surprise we were the only clients which is always a bit spooky.
The service was good which is not surprising as they only had us to worry about. We tried a number of dishes which had been recommended and thought they were good. I woke up very ill and it took Imodium several hours to work its wonders. The only dish my husband did not try was the "wok fried spaghetti with spicy Chiang Mai sausage", hence that is probably the culprit.
