Brilliant stay

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 13 Jul 2019
This hotel offers an exceptional high standard of quality whilst providing a traditional vibe and treating all customers good service and respect. I was surprised at the attention to detail of the staff going above and beyond their required means, the pool is modern and well kept, the food and drinks are more expensive than i would have liked along with the spa treatments although quality is clearly a priority at this hotel.

Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Tamarind Village Spa suite and really enjoyed our time there. All staff, including the general manager were very friendly and helpful at all times and the facilities are exactly as promised.
We were particularly grateful that even though we arrived before normal check-in time after a red-eye flight from Europe, we were given an extra room upon arrival to allow us to freshen up and relax until the suite was ready. We highly recommend this place if you are traveling as a family.

Lovely hotel. Rooms decked out in traditional Thai style, with some really lovely touches, such as Thai style slippers and robes in the room.
Good location with some nice restaurants just across the road, lots of temples right on the doorstep and the night market just 20mins walk.
Very welcoming and helpful staff, even going out of there way to assist with some problems we were having with a tour operator, managing to get it resolved on our behalf.
Highly recommended if staying in Chiang Mai.

Lovely room, authentic ambience and effective air con even though not the most modern/sealed. Lovely pool and service, and dinner (reviewed separately) was thrown in one night, plus vouchers for spar and another meal had we wanted it. great cocktails.

Visited the tamarind Village hotel for three nights in June. Hotel is so nice but in every aspect. The setting , staff, food and service is excellent. Beautiful place well positioned in the centre whilst also beautiful and very quiet and tranquil .
Booked a day trip out to Doi Inthanon Park through the hotel and Kandy out guide was first class. I would stay here again without a doubt !

Tamarind village is a boutique hotel with a majestic tamarind tree in the courtyard. It is a small hotel, with lobby, restaurant and pool the only public area for hotel quests.
I stayed for 2 days in Lanna room on the 2nd floor of the building. Clean room with northern Thai Lanna furnished. The room smaller than what expected, especially toilet and shower room area (lower ceiling, if you taller than 180cm your head probably can hit the ceiling) / not sure if the other room are the same. Not really like the room design and lay out / small window and feel pike in a cocoon.
Breakfast was delicious, i like the traditional northern style cuisine option. Staff was polite and friendly.
