The room we were given was spacious with nice furnishings. We were only in this hotel for two nights but would return for a longer stay. As others have said the location is good and we enjoyed shopping in the night bazaar both evenings. Good 'ole american fast food was right across the street with McD's, Burger King and Pizza Hut. I know it's silly to get excited about fast food but after several weeks of rice and rural food it was a delight to order a mocha frappe from McD's (although I think they used expresso instead of coffee - it was strong!) I would recommend this hotel.

The most important thing about this hotel is its location! Just in the night bazaar! Perfect for us!
My family and I spent 3nights there! Really enjoy! The breakfast good have been better (more like american breakfast) but it was good! The rooms were very good, the bathroom also! Really enjoy there!

Room Tip: They were clean and spacious! Very good!

The hotel is all about location - which is absolutely perfect – add to that the price per room and you have a great value for money. The hotel is a little old but mostly nicely kept – there are few exceptions though for instance the bath in our room could use some caulk remover. Other than that the cleaning standard of the rooms are great.

While at the hotel we also had the opportunity to visit the pool area – a part of the hotel that is really nice but seem to have been forgotten by the staff – they could make much more out of it but doesn’t.

All in all a pleasant experience for approx. 40USD per night – a very nice deal – first and foremost because of the location.

Our 4 night stay at the Royal Lanna Hotel was very pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfy and of generous size. Breakfast which was included in the price consisted of a array of fruits and cereals along with the egg, omelet and pancake station. 3 lifts are available to take you to your designated floor, one of which is a glass elevator next to steps. The pool was in full sun around middle of day, just in time for a dip to refresh. We arranged airport transfers with hotel and they were very efficient.

The hotel is in great location, very nice lobby and good breakfast.
the rooms are HUGE but only have bed and a small TV in them.
there is a lot of space to use and the price is fair.
the rooms seems to be old and needs a refresh.
A/C was very good for this size of the rooms and kept the room cool.
very close to the night market and close to a 7-11 and cool bars and restaurants.
one thing is tough the pool is on the roof its on the 4th floor roof and not the TOP of the hotel.
I was disappointed a bit, but that's petty. :)
very basic but very recommended if you are not into high leisure

We were on a small tour and this was the hotel they used. The location is great - right next to the night market and easy to get around the area. Unfortunately, this hotel needs a badly needed update. The room size was fine, but the place was not particularly clean, nor did it
seem comfortable. Would advise you spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere. By the way, the photos of the room in their brochure are, at best, very creative.
