This hotel is in a great location, and the setting itself in a courtyard is very picturesque. However, the place is swarming with mosquitos. Rather than do something about it, the hotel sells insect repellant to its guests. I also found the service to be lacking given the price paid at this hotel. The restaurant staff were cheerful, but painfully slow. The front desk staff were not helpful, and sometimes a bit rude. The concierge was not helpful either, and steered us terribly wrong with recommendations for tours (sent us to tourist traps even after we explained, clearly, what type of activities we were looking for!). We had no hot water in our room for the first day of our stay, and reception on the 10+ year old TV was very poor. That doesn't matter much as you're not really in Chiang Mai to watch TV; however, it would have been nice to catch the news before bed. On the positive side, the rooms are large and otherwise comfortable, the pool is great, and the location near the night market is excellent. However, I can't recommend this hotel because I our stay was marred by one hassle after another. It's really too bad because this hotel has great potential.

The hotel is in a good location to get to know Chiang Mai. The breakfast is average (only black coffee, no fresh pancakes or waffles). The rooms are spacious but no moscito nets available. Nice pool and garden. Staff not quite up to the price level of the hotel.

My husband and I have just completed a 4 night stay at the wonderful oasis in the city.

The location is in short walking distance to the night market, tons of restaurants and bars.

It truly is an oasis! Nestled off of a main road it is incredibly quiet with a small but nice grounds, and a centre pool. Plus, The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone, as we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Chiangmai offers tons of "Eco" like adventures which take you into the hills 45mins to 1 1/2 hrs away. As well as, a plethora of historic sites to walk too in and around the city and the shopping is amazing!

Stay here in the city and then if you like find somewhere in the hills, but Yaang Come Village offers the best of both worlds.

We loved it. The room was beautiful, and after 4 days in Chiang Mai we still weren't tired of it. Staff was very helpful, advising which modes of transportation for various parts of the city, and when I realized I had forgotten my jacket at checkout, I called the office and they drove it to me at the airport! The pool is nice and cool, but beware mosquitos in the evening! Breakfast consisted of pineapple, dragonfruit, cantaloupe, waffles, pancakes, breads/toast, sweet cakes, an omelet station, and a few other odds and ends. The resort is a block away from the Night market, and about a 20 minute walk to the Old City. It is QUIET! You see the word "Oasis" often in these reviews and it is true. It's a beautiful resort, and I always felt a sense of pride when a group tour van would drop us off. I would stay here again if I return to Chiang Mai.

This place was charming and quiet. The amenities and service were outstanding. The bathroom is huge. The bed was great although it does not look like much. The bananas in the room each day were welcomed and valuable for us. AC was great.

There is a nearby 7eleven for water purchases and it was close enough that we could walk to the night market, river night life, city wall and the Saturday night market.

The staff speaks excellent English and offers great help.

Breakfast is excellent.

The only compliant we had was with the price of the hotel arranged taxi service which seemed to cause the local people to laugh at us at the destinations where we visited. Try a tuk tuk or motorbike instead of a taxi.
