Stayed at the Yaang Come Village for 5 days. The location close to the night marked is excellent and the hotel is even better. Could not imagine a more quiet and peacefull oasis.

The rooms are very nice and so id the staff. Would definetely stay there again,

Lovely ethnic hotel centred around the pool and a courtyard of trees and shrubs to create a valuable sense of peace and solitude. The staff were lovely and helpful as they took our money with smiles and charm. Were we being fleeced? Well, it was very pleasant if we were, so we didn't mind too much.
The deluxe room was nice but basic. Ethnic yes, wow factor no. In fact, it was very over-priced compared to the 5* hotels in Bangkok. It was clean (with some smells occasionally), but we did have some problems with the mozzies. It would have helped if we had been shown how to use the electronic mozzie killer. Breakfast was excellent for such a relatively small hotel, but there was little incentive to eat other meals as the menu was limited to one dish per course. The hotel was conveniently situated for the night market and the huge Sunday night market -a must even if you get fed up with the same same market stalls.
The great attraction of Chiangmai is its more intimate feel than Bangkok and its beautiful countryside. The elephant treking and bamboo rafting is surprisingly gentle and relaxing. The national park and gardens was like being back in England at its best. Watch out for the tiger photo shoot and monkey touching. Back to nature, but a bit naff and certainly not pc. Chiangmai is definitely worth the visit and the Yaang Come Village is a charming hotel, but don't expect to be pampered.

Minutes away from the night market, the night bazaar and Anusun market, this small hotel is just perfect. Top marks in all aspects, not in the least thanks to very friendly and helpful staff. I only wonder what happens around the pool when all 42 rooms are occupied. Who's going to get the 20 relax chairs?

Cant fault this place as it has the best of both worlds - quiet grounds & minutes away from the night market, famtastic location. Family room was spacious, loved the decor, clean, 2 balconies (not the best of views but seconds away from the pool/garden area).
Will stay there again.

This place is in the middle of Chiang Mai, but when you are staying here it is very peaceful and green. Really romantic too.

When you walk out of the hotel everything is in walking distance.

The rooms are lovely, but you have to be lucky with the view. Not like the view is great in any other hotel, since it is in the city. The bathroom is spacious and beautifull.

The best thing of Yaang come is the staff. The service here is excellent. You will feel at home here. The spa is great too.
