we havn't been travel much sice a lot of thing happen with our busniess. but we have 2 week off around feb.The hotel is really lovely and in a great location. We didn't eat there so we can't comment on the food. The service from staff was great and we felt very pampered. It really made our stay an enjoyable one. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely stay there again

we wanted to go up north the first time and our choice of this hotel proved to be a good one. Once you got off the big road in front of the complex you really thought you entered a village when passing the reception area.
Nice location very close to the temple district and the old wall, decent prices. Very spacious rooms around a fair sized pool.
All staff doing more than necessary to make it a stay one likes to remember. We stayed for 5 nights and the only small issue would be the breakfast. If you like your eggs etc you are ok, however continental breakfast was reduced to croissants, toast and various marmelades - not a great choice really for a hotel of this classification.

  • Liked — all points of interest very close by or even in walking distance
  • Disliked — breakfast

Small with a very friendly staff, moreover the friendliness seemed to be genuine, no false smiles that we could detect unlike the big chains.
Our room was large and very well cleaned everyday, hot water sometimes took a while to arrive to our shower.
Front desk was very efficient and all the tours organised for us were first class.
Restaurant was good, not sure that we found a better restaurant in our stay and am surprised that the restaurant is not more widely marketed. The little waiter , Mr boy is I believe his nickname, typified the friendliness of the staff, he was always ready to give a friendly word and to offer advice and made our stay better

We enjoyed every day of our 8 days-stay in this hotel. Our son, 9 years old, loved especially the pool, we all loved the quiet atmosphere and the perfect service of the staff and to be very close to the center in tranquility.
We really recommend it and plan to come again at our next holiday in thailand

This was such a wonderful hotel in such a great location, walking distance to all the major sights and a pick up was always available for any trips that staff were more than happy to organise for you. It was just like a utopia of peace and gardens in the centre of a busy and exciting city. Lots of info available about tours in the reception area and free internet 24/7. (Just one tip- there are a lot of tours adverstised around chaing mai with elephant rides but most of them are with the seats on their backs and they are often mistreated and overworked. Yaang come organised a reasonable priced 2400bt, trip to baan chang elephant park, which was bareback elephant rideing washing and feeding and all the elephants were rescued from terrible situations and were really loved and well cared for and your money helps the lovely ex-monk owner help and rescue more.)

Great location and a very beautiful and peaceful hotel. Fantastic staff, everybody did their best to help and to make your stay in the hotel fantastic. We had 8 wonderful days in Chiangmai and thanks to the hotel staff who helped us find everything from golfcourses to temples to nice restaurants, they made you feel very special and importing. When you were at the hotel you just couldn´t believe you stayed in such a big city, it was a great place.

We spent four nights in Chiang Mai on our travels around Thailand. I would recommend staying at this resort for a true thai experience. You could book a standard hotel but this offers something romantic and luxurious.

The rooms are massive, its in a great location for the night markets and all the local tours. The swimming pool area was full of chairs and shade if required. Free internet and wireless at the pool was a bonus.

The staff were friendly and went out of the way to help. Personally I did not like the food in the restaurtant but as its not included you do not have to worry. When I order chips, I would like more than eight on the plate!! Breakfast was fine, normal style buffet. There is the most amazing restaurant one minute away called the whole earth.

In my opinion give Bangkok a miss, come to chiang mai to see the temples. We took the one day adventure to Chain Rai, a most special day and not to be missed. Also visit the temple in the mountains.
