We made the mistake of booking a hotel about a 15-minute taxi ride from the city, but that wasn't the worst thing about B2Ayatana. There was virtually no internet access in the room (and often, not in the front office area); the mosquito problem from standing water in the decorative pools was so bad, the staff put up signs telling you to keep your door closed and use mosquito netting; virtually no cabs or tuk-tuks had any idea where this place was, so we often had to wait at the front desk for 15 minutes until the staff could get us a ride. What was worst was that the staff constantly agreed to help fix things but never did - the front desk receptionist supposedly told a Red Top driver that we wanted to go to the center of town and he took us to the airport with some other guests; the next day we asked her to tell the driver to go to the Night Bazaar and she (and the driver) neglected to tell us it was closed on Mondays. This place has some serious problems and is not worth the money.

Room Tip: Noisy children around the pool, unchecked by either parents or staff, make it essential to book on the upper floor. Not sure that will help with mosquitos because of the standing water, however.

Very relaxing and mostly quiet place. Very tasteful design and a great swimming pool and wi-fi. Friendly and very helpful staff who love falang kids. The location is away from the main bustle in town, but not too far away. It is close to forest walks, a wat surrounded by gardens, the university and fantastic street food. very safe, secure and relaxed area and hotel.

Room Tip: room 2101 has a slight 'musty' smell, but five other rooms used by us and friends were great. Mozzies are fierce, but no worse than home in Australia.

It seems the reviews on here about B2 Ayatana are very mixed but our stay there was extremely pleasant and we actually ended up becoming friends with one of the guys who worked there. Admittedly the rest of the staff were quite unfriendly but we were only there for a couple of nights and aside from check in and check out we had very little contact with them.
The room was great! I don't quite remember what type it was but we had a really good sleep.

Old furnish, small room and low quality breakfast (need improve) set on secret location difficult to find this hotel I recommend to show your GPS info on your website will helpful for your guest.

But this is a quiet place suite for relax and reading book a side the main pool (recommend anti mosquito spray with you).
