“Unique experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 October 2010

The Shewe Wana Boutique Resort and Spa is a unique first class accommodation and value for money. Service and friendliness is absolutely excellent and could not find any fault. From the pick up at the airport to checking in and out the level of service is excellent. Wonderful Buffet breakfast in a beautiful garden like setting with friendly staff.
Helpful hints and ideas for travel was provided by the staff and was of great help. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and the bathroom was spacious. You could just hang around the hotel and enjoy spa treatments or swim or just relax. Or you could do cooking classes, tours and shopping. Will be returning .

It’s just a piece of paradise hidden in a humming town. One wouldn’t expect that from the outside. We got room 26 which was tastefully decorated + very confotrable. Breakfast is very good. Try the italian coffees! Situated a bit off downtown – but that’s rather an advantage

Here you will find a calm setting, fullsome and delicious breakfasts but best of all a very warm and dedicated staff team. They make life so easy through their advice and attention to every detail. We will miss them.

Shewe Wana is without question, simply the best little boutique resort in chiang mai.
I have 'never' enjoyed my stay at a resort as much as I did at Shewe Wana.
There are a 'million' reasons to wax lyrical about this place and almost none to complain about.
Shewe Wana is for people who are prepared to accept 4 star quality at 3 star prices but are also adventerous enough to be surrounded by the local people and the local enviroment, if you want to live in a sterile fishbowl, stay in a multi-story concrete jungle. If you want to experiance the beautiful and compassionate nature of the thai people in a thai enviroment then this is the place for you.

yes we will be back, and as soon as possible.... !!!!!

My Friend & I stayed at Shewe Wana for 6 nights and really enjoyed ourselves in Chiang Mai but at the end of the day it was nice to go through the gate to another world and just kick back and enjoy the peace & quiet away from the hussle & bussle and enjoy a drink by the pool with a nice glass of whatever and reflect on a Top day even if we did have to get Muang to open the gate for us after dark , And yes the water was cold , Winter does that to pools and yes the massages are more expensive than in town but the ladies are Qualified and you get what you pay for , I really enjoyed mine.
We had the pleasure of meeting Joy & her cousin who was visiting from down south and I would have to say these ladies were not only fun to be with but had class which is nice to see and both were very professional & had a good outlook on things, others we had the pleasure to meet during our 2 week stay in Thailand were certainly pleasant but
I'd recommend this Hotel to anybody who wants a bolthole away from the noise and everything a big city can be.
Cheers Mr Bruce & Mr Russell

We booked this hotel through Agoda and were not disappointed with the hotel, staff or location. within easy walking distance to night market, restaurants and with tuk tuks outside the door. situated on a busy road but within the lush grounds you would never know. free internet available in the foyer and ever helpful and friendly staff to answer any queries. would stay here again if in chaing mai. also they serve a fantasic breakfast.
