We were greeted by a lovely hostess who turned out to be the chefs wife. Ushered to a table in the cool interior and were greeted by gorgeous design. The menu was simple and not overwhelming. Attention was prompt. It was suggested we try the "special" salad...avocado, stuffed with tomato and mozarella, bed of arugula and the sweetest cantalope artfully displayed on the side. It looked like a piece of art! 4 of us shared this dish. The eggplant parmesan was sliced so thin and so tasty, the spagetti with meat ragu was devoured by the child who accompanied us, the special salmon prepared with a chopped tomato topping with herbs and spices was generous serving but was again, eaten and shared, it was outstanding. Gnocchi, what to say, like eating clouds, the best I ever have and I am the fussiest gnocchi eater, you had a choice of several sauces, I chose the 4 cheese. The chef makes this pasta himself and hats off to him! Desert was a mango granita, which disappeared by the 10 year old as quickly as it was set down. The tiramisu sooo good, and some sort of coffee filled cooked shell which was light as a feather and tasted great. There were no crumbs left anywhere. Must comment on all presentations and use of dishes and silverware, so pleasing and perfect. Our wine was a fruity French Rose reasonably priced. We can not wait to put this restaurant on the top of our MUST VISIT upon return to Sarasota....still dreaming about a wonderful meal with great hosts.

We found this restaurant when walking down one of Chiang Mai's many Sois.
It's small and seems to be in a guest house. Most of the seating is Thai style on floor mats. There is a large table and chairs at the front.
We ordered a giant salad and a rice dish. We both had a fruit smoothie.
The giant salad had lots of raw vegetables and a peanut dressing. Quite good for a light lunch. The rice dish was ok, it could have done with a bit more flavour. There wasn't the usual selection of condiments on the side we have had with many meals in Thai restaurants.
There was a reasonable number of meals to choose from. Sure to be something for everyone.
Overall we found the meal a little bland.
Staff were friendly and service efficient.

Bodhi Tree Cafe is still a great place, but their great original location is gone (it looks destroyed) and now they are located where their 2nd branch was on Rajdamnoen Soi 5.

I went for a snack of porridge with fruit, nuts, seeds, and plant milk. Delicious, nutritious, and satisfying.

We came here a couple of times. It is a really quiet quaint street at a funky little cafe/restaurant with a vegan feel. The owner came out and chatted to us, you can tell they are passionate about making awesome vege/vegan dishes. They are very fresh ingredients, bought every morning. Recommend the pad thai! Would come back for sure

The panang curry was fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful, a nice place to sit and read or write for a while. Highly recommend.
