My sons and I stayed at Kantary Hills in October 2022 for two weeks. This was my second stay and their first and we all had such a wonderful time. The two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was very spacious, with a balcony over the pool where I liked to read. Fantastic to have kitchen facilities and a washing machine. The staff were so kind and considerate and patient with my lack of Thai language! The cleaning staff in particular deserve special mention . I loved relaxing in the pool before exploring the city. The buffet breakfast is amazing with so much choice - ideal for teenagers!
I have seen comments about noise from planes but there are only a few flights - seemed to be morning and afternoon and it didn't bother me at all. It was very convenient to the airport. Along Nimman Road there are smaller roads that have lovely little shops and eating places that are great to explore, along with the Maya centre for mall shopping.
Chiang Mai itself has plenty of interesting things to do - definitely check out the night markets and the local handmade handicrafts. If you like Japanese food then suggest you search out Sanmai for ramen - divine!

Positively wonderful hotel in almost every single aspect. BUT Can't 5* it for the following reasons
1) Dated rooms (but comfortable and acceptable)..BUT bad lighting easily fixed by using warmer and stronger bulbs
2) In the nearby airport takeoff path so can be horrifically noisy at times.

Second stay at Kantary Hills in Chiang Mai. Very convenient to shops and restaurants in the Nimman area, including Maya Lifestyle. Excellent breakfast selection and quality. Very quiet, spacious and comfortable one bedroom suite. Good service.

Great location very convinient. Near big shopping mall "Maya" you can walk or ride on Nimman road. We really like the character of the hotel with beautiful decorate the room were clean, big and suitable for family and the staff was amazing and very hospitable. Wonderful Breakfast Line Buffet many kind of foods. Nice swimming pool and fitness room.Kantary Hills Chiang Mai is very high quality rooms and High quality of service. We'd like to recommend Kantary Hills for your next trip to Chiang Mai.

I was initially booked my hotel in the city centre but due to the flood in early Oct 2022, I was moved to this hotel as the road in the city centre were all flooded. The room in Kantary Hill is a studio type and it had the smell of stuffiness in the beginning. However, the smell was gone and everything is fine and clean. Love the breakfast in this hotel.
