Truly lovely temple set out on the lake not far from the big buddah very impressive and for 10 baht you can feed the fish in the lake deffinately a must if you like temples. I have seen many temples in thailAnd and this has to be one of the best.

A buddhist temple with many beautiful statues and there is also a lake there. Located very near to the famous Big Buddha. A nice place to visit especially for photography lovers

There are not many tourist sights on Koh Samui except for the beaches and the big buddha so we visited this not so famous temple to fill some time. Surprisingly, we really enjoyed it as it was very beautiful and well maintained.

It did not blow our mind as it is not especially spectacular but there were lots of interesting and nice architectural details to look at, and take photos.

Truly a unique experience! Donation is required tho not forced! Great photo opportunity and great for making merit and hopefully bringing some luck! Obviously you have to cover up (no shoulders showing, short skirts etc for woman and respectful dressing for males) common sense really! Be respectful and wonder around, buy some fish feed and then give to the huge carp, turtles and whatever else is in there plus if game the pigeons that surround you! Great for kids to get some culture and interesting for adults in many ways! At the entrance, just to the side of wat/temple there is a 'coffin' donation box which is a little gory..(warning farangs in some of the photos too, so maybe keep the kids away from here as it has photos up of injured and dead people that may require money assistance for burial or hospitals fees etc! Makes you realize life is precious and fragile! Very interesting and usually quieter than Big Buddha

On our first visit last year we hadn't been to this place. Colorful temple compound with a large lake. You can feed the huge fish. Lots of Chinese & Hindu gods as well. Make sure to visit the building located on the lotus on the lake. Beautiful mural paintings about the life of Buddha. We can highly recommend to visit this temple.
