This place is just amazing!

Just off the main ring road near Tesco Lotus, easy to access and park, food is unbeatable and great value. Bar full of every wine and beer you could want and perfect selection of British Ciders.

I often visit for the full English breakfast, which is a massive plate full of the best food you could ever want. Black pudding and sausages to die for, to be eaten in a great welcoming environment every time with large TV's for entertainment. Many great choices from the menu.

Often also have Fish and Chips, which is just a "must do" and the cornish pasties are huge and so scrummy.

The staff are perfect and the husband and wife owners are so friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to help ensure you have a nice time.

Fools if you miss out on this little gem........You will not be sorry. Can't wait to go next time!

Happy days..........Enjoy!

This is a boutique style cafe offering really good western food. They serve large portions and the price is certainly reasonable. I have ordered a few dishes from here already and all have been excellent. The Cornish pasty really is fantastic and will fill anyone up; let alone the chips and beans that come with it.

The coffee is also very good and the barista has obviously been trained properly on the art of making a range of coffees. All the staff have always been very polite and have provided a very efficient service.

Fantastic little cafe....

The Red Brick Cafe is set back from the main ring road, just before the first entrance to Tesco Lotus (if you are travelling from Maenam direction). It is situated in the far right corner of the small square of shops, opposite the turning towards Thai International Hospital. There is attended parking in the square which makes it easy to drive right to the cafe and easy to negotiate this busy junction. Take my word for it, it is worth looking for.

So, what about the Red Brick Cafe itself? Well; firstly it is owned and managed by a lovely, friendly Thai/English couple called, Suda and David. One or the other is always present and they both speak fluent English and Thai.

It is very comfortably furnished with big, lounge chairs and tables for a casual coffee during the day or a romantic evening meal and they even have a Kid's Corner to get the "Ankle Biters" out from under your feet for a while. The attentive and friendly staff will look after you while you relax and unwind.

My wife and I have eaten there a few times now. The first dinner we had there was such a pleasant surprise, we have been back several times since (and “ssshhh,” I even sneak back there, on my own, for the occasional, quiet lunch). It seems to get better each time and I am sure it will continue to impress as they have a pair of very, qualified, experienced chefs and a friendly, attentive staff. The menu is varied, interesting and with attractive, classic English and Thai dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are an English man or woman living here (or even here on holiday) you will be well pleased with the ploughman’s and impressed with the pasties and pies. Some of the UK’s favourite, traditional dishes are done here to perfection.
The sneaky, late breakfast I had yesterday was the best I have had on the island (outside of home, of course, Darling; if you are reading this!). Cumberland sausage, home-made black pudding, crispy hash-browns the works! Just right!

As I said at the start, this is far more and beyond a normal café. I have had perfectly, cooked medallions of lamb, with pumpkin, fresh vegetables and cranberry jue. Seabass to die for and wagu steaks that were so tender I could cut them like butter. Not to mention, a good choice of wines and drinks to suit all tastes.

The cafe opens early and is open until 10pm every night.

We have been lucky enough to have eaten at just about all of the “top end” restaurants and resorts on Koh Samui. I have to say that I believe the food at the Red Brick Cafe is right up there in the top 5 and the prices will surprise and please you too!

Very impressive!

Its true the more you travel and revisit countries, the greater the chance there is to find something new and great to experience that was missed previously. As regards eating experiences I was lucky to come across this excellent eatery on my last visit. The superb Red Brick Cafe !!! yes it is a cafe, a large comfortable air conditioned one. However, in addition of some the finest selection of Coffees and home made Sodas I have ever tasted they also amazingly deliver food that is usually for the few privilege that can afford the 5 star hotel restaurants, except here at very reasonable prices.

The food here was superb, and needless to say I had to come by and sample the various western and Thai delicacies on the excellent menu with superb culinary choices, all delivered to 1st class standards. Over a couple of weeks I had sampled the Fillet Steak, Lamb, Seared Tuna steak, Thai chicken and rice and on occasion Full English Breakfast. They also did cornish pasty and english pork pies, amazing. Don't come here to loose weight, but after saying that there are actually some great healthy options such as home made soups, Tuna Tartare, salads and healthy breakfast choices. In addition there is a fantastic selection of wines and bottled beers.

This venue is new and inspired by the British and Thai Man and Wife team with much Samui business experience. This place is not on the main Chaweng beach Road but found off the main ring road 2 minutes from the main Tesco Lotus. Many of the diners are actually Samui ex pats that was great if needing to chat about the ups and downs of Samui life and Investing there. Near by is a great Irish Bar ( also with good A/C) the Irish Times. There are also wine shops, spa and several other shops that seem to compliment each other in this secure friendly area with good parking.

Afterwards, retire to the comfortable leather sofas and use the free Wi Fi or maybe watch some TV while you sample super choices of great coffee and Tea selections. All the staff were Bon Cafe trained and this place is a great contender to any of the main stream restaurants and leading coffee house. A exemplary food and beverage venue, brand new to Samui, that has hit the ground running and most definitely punching above its weight in food and beverage.
