Tim's Boutique did not match the expectations I have for a hotel in this price range. The hotel does not even provide the most basic amenities, including toothbrush. The rooms lack character or style for a hotel in this price range.

What Was Good

Staff was efficient and helpful
Good location for shopping, eating, and nightlife
Fairly comfortable bed

What Was Not So Good

Musty smell in the elevator
Room looked a little dated, and in some places such has the bathroom, a bit dingy
Noise from bars just outside the hotel makes sleeping difficult

Overall, Tim's Boutique has potential, however, I think the prices do not reflect the value this hotel can offer unless some updates or improvements are made.

This neat and clean hotel offered me the best price as I found it on the trip advisor site. The location is OK. Walking Street in Pataya is the place to be and its not to far from this Hotel. Just catch a Taxi or Took Took and its so cheap. The staff Spoke good English and I can say that I had 2 days in this nice Hotel that I truly Enjoyed

Room Tip: Go to Lucifer Night Club in Walking Street its a Buzz and the drinks are so cheap

Attractive hotel close to beach and entertainment district. Comfortable room, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast, easy access from main road. Nice hotel for a holiday besides over charged internet for the money paying. In a hotel priced about 2000 Baht should certainly proide complimentary internet facility atleast in the lobby.
Breakfast is almost same everyday, but restaurent service is excellent. Certainly recomment this hotel for future visitors besids the above drawbacks.

First stay at Pattaya, Thailand, research for lot of information about hotel, choose the most nearby the central of city, Tim's Boutique Hotel. Information on site showing average comment for this hotel, but the price I book from Asiaweb is ok Jun22 to 24 2011 for HK$400 around. Check the comment from Tripadvisor, I know the facilities and prestige not very good, but the location is really good ! Go out from the small alley on the left, and large shopping mall COMPLEX AVENUE is just nearby, the left hand forward is Royal Garden shopping mall full of restaurant and shop, next is Marrriot Resort & Spa. On the right hand side is the Mike Shopping Mall walk distance about 5 mins. Going forward just cross one road from Hotel is the beach road, along it lot of good restaurant and bar, walk to WALKING STREET also 10 mins around.

Outlook of hotel not so glamorous, the lobby is very dark, little bit look old, but the furniture seems not old but just the style and colour make it look old. Room at 4/F is facing the Complex Avenue, sun shine is fully in room, room with balcony and not small, the astray is on the wall of the balcony. TV is 40" SONY PALSMA, BRAVIA, hahahaha. room not small. but the bathroom a little bit simple especially the shower partition, seems easy to broken. So bad few hair especially on the lower body was found in the bathtub. Call front desk immediately, ask them to clean the whole bathtub until clean. Room not bad, little bit old style, but at all it's comfortable. Just the colour of the wooden wall feeling old. The safety box seems not quite safety, hahhhahaa. The bellboy service good. A swimming pool on the top and the bar supply drink is at the end of the pool, I think the length should be 15m. have a sunbath will be a good idea. You also can order food and drink over there.
So lucky when I book this hotel, I strongly request to have a room with the same direction with the hotel front door. When I walk by the opposite room when they are doing clean, I saw the room's balcony is not really a balcony, like a balcony was block by wall but with vey high few small window which cannot have any scene. I think that side is facing the bar downstair with very noise music.

From hotel go to SEASIDE Mo Ahoi Restaurant by taxi around THB200. If you want to go to Floating Market, no need to take 2row car (it's cause u THB3-400, or taxi 300), u just take a taxi on street and tell them go to floating market (of course request meter) , it only cost u THB95, hahahaha. If you don't know how to tell him, u just record the voice from Hotel staff then drive can go there with clear direction.

If you not requesting a very good hotel, it is a not bad hotel easy for you to shopping and eating. The staff very polite and willing to help. If u need anything just ask them.

If you need to post the picture, don't use the hotel lobby is company, it cost 30THB 30 mins. u just walk out on the left , the restaurant of hotel just opposite have computer for upload just 10THB for 30mins. so good.

I will recommand this hotel to suitable people.

I really liked this hotel which is situated on a side street in downtown Pattaya. While it is close to the secondary street from beach road, it's just far enough away that you won't have to worry about too much noise from the nearby bars. Everything is close enough that you can walk just about anywhere. The hotel serves both thai and western style breakfasts and omelettes made to order. The room was a nice size with a queen sized bed and bathroom that had a large bath tub and shower. I was pleased with mostly everything the hotel had to offer but I did have 1 complaint though, I couldn't put my finger on it but there was a must smell in the room that I thought came from water in the bathroom but when in the bathroom there was no smell. The smell went away as soon as we turned up the A/C but otherwise everything was ok. Would recommend for someone who wants to be close the fun nightlife but would still like to get a good night's rest.
