Well located hotel, about a 5 minute walk to the beachfront and a 10 minute walk to the gogo bars and clubs of Walking Street. Set back just far enough from noisy bars to get a nights sleep, and easy to find after a night out (important!). I don't know how new the hotel is,but it looked as if it was brand new, everything was very clean. There is a fairly good sized rooftop pool with a jacuzzi type swim up bar and sun loungers. A good area for when you wish to relax away from the hawkers and seemingly hundreds of Indian tailors desperately trying to flog you a suit,so a nice pool area shouldnt be underestimated in Pattaya. Decent buffet style breakfast. Rooms were a good size and the bed was terrific, very big,but if you like a soft mattress,it was pretty hard. A bigger flat screen tv would of been nice instead of the rather dated old Sony crt,and an ipod dock would of been good as well. Currently they seem to be undergoing expansion and I was a bit shocked to be woken at 9am by the sounds of sledgehammers and drilling, but I suppose it shows they are doing something right if they are adding more rooms. I would check when its due to be finished before booking. The staff were excellent, always smiley and will look after you well. I didnt venture into any other hotels, but some of them looked very dated from the outside,so I would guess that Tim's could be one of the best in Pattaya. For the money it was excellent.

-Clean room
-Inexpensive rates from Agoda
-Very friendly staff
-Nearby shopping (Mike Shopping Mall and Pattaya Shopping Plaza)
-5 min walk from beach
-Easy to take a 10 baht Songthaew taxi along Beach Road or Sai Song Road
I've stayed here many times, and think it's the best value for the money in a great location.
Tip: Buy a Raid Baygon plug-in at the Shopping Plaza (100 baht) to keep away any mosquitoes in your room

I have stayed at Tim Boutique several times. This hotel features a rooftop swimming pool with bar, restaurant with breakfast buffet, and well equipped rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is available (but not free). All rooms have safes. Bathrooms have both a bathtub and shower stall. You can find cheaper hotels and more expensive hotels in Pattaya, but I think you get good value for your money here. One thing to be aware of at the moment is construction noise. The hotel is building an expansion wing which won't be finished until February or March, 2011 . But it's not that big an issue Hotel is close to all the major shopping malls, the beach, and walking street. I highly recommend the place and will stay there again.

Just spent 3 weeks at this great little hotel right in the middle of all the action in Pattaya. It's my 6th trip and the best hotel yet. The staff was just wonderful, and surprised me in so many ways. They seemed to anticipate your every need, and were always ready to help with a big smile. Rooms are very large, well furnished in a very contemporary style, and have a great bathroom with huge soaking tub for 2 (or more) and a separate shower.
Buffet breakfast was just delicious, and included 4 types of juice, at least 6 types of fresh fruit, 4 types of cereal, 10 or 12 hot dishes, most of which were rotated every day for variety, french toast, waffles, fresh salad, 2 types of soup, pastries, breads, an omelet station. and a Slurpee machine with 3 flavors. Fantastic.
The only negatives for me were
1. The hotel has no gym, although they say one is being built in the new addition.
2. The construction noise from the new addition is very obtrusive, and it started early and ended late.
3. The televisions in the rooms were old small Sony tube types....out of place in a modern hotel in this day and age.
Overall, a 4 star hotel with 5 star service.

I stayed here on a whim. Walked in and got a rate of 2000 baht, which seemed a bit much, but it was right near where I wanted to be and I was interested in trying the place out.

I hadn't noticed the construction going on next door, and the one room they had left was right next to the construction. The banging and grinding stopped at night but started back up at 7am. After a late night.

Good news is the hotel is expanding, looks to be doubling in size.

But I don't think I'll stay there again. The price is just too much for what is an ordinary hotel.

Wi-fi is extra, which annoyed me.

The TV wasn't working, and I had to call the staff to fix it. They took care of it alright, but it was still a bother.

The staff are all very nice and attentive. Somebody always runs to open the door or push the elevator button.

Rooms are okay. Nice king bed and wing chair to lounge in . Well-appointed bathroom with huge tub and separate shower stall.

There's the typical mini-bar, with free bottled water. TV channels are the typical Pattaya cable offerings, no HBO.

They have a funny price list of everything in the room. You want to take the towel rack or bottle opener or even the giant bathtub? They'll sell it to you. For a price.

The pool is on the 8th-floor rooftop. It's small, so not much for doing laps. It's more for cooling off in.

I might recommend this hotel to couples, but not to the solo traveler.
