I have been several times with visitors. Friends and family have always enjoyed it. The main inside area is filled with many statues which are very similar. It is difficult to take in the overwhelming number of exhibits. The side rooms of royal furniture and the upstairs rooms of cultural and religious murals are more impressive. The outside areas,, especially the Chinese Imperial Court and the Shaolin warrior monks are fascinating and realistically individual. Inexpensive to visit. Chinese-Thai culture.

This is an amazing Chinese temple and museum. If you are at all interested in Buddhism, Chinese and Thai culture or Shaolin martial arts, I can recommend this place. The other reviews give more detail, but I'd like to add that I was just stunned by the beauty of it all when I walked in through the gate and there are more surprises when you go inside the temple and also upstairs. The Chinese government have donated many of the artefacts and there is a good guide book that tells you all about the displays. It would probably be boring for children (ours went off to the 3D museum while we went here) and they don't allow dogs.

This is actually one of the best museums I have ever visited. Very interesting. A museum on the relation between Thailand and China and focus on Chinese art and religion. A huge selection of buddha images and other religios images and statues. You can even see warriors from the Terracotta Army from Xian, China here. Very unique. I visited with my two eldest daughters (9 and 11) and they liked it alot. Information in English so it is easy to visit the museum and read and learn about the different images and statues in the museum. Small entrance fee (only about 50 THB I think).
