This was a great place, a gentle wonder around taking in the sights, sounds and smells. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

This place has been built for over 20 years. There are many interesting things about Thai-Chinese Sculpture and Regional stuffs. It's about to see how Buddha Region has affected ancient Chinese in ages.

“Must see museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 February 2014

Visit Viharnra Sien on 02 February 2014. This museum has been opened for 30 years according to my guide and this was my first visit even though I had been to Pattaya more than 10 times. It is situated in the mountain area about 20 minutes from Pattaya. This musuem houses numerous statues of Chinese deities from Buddhism and Taoism.
Guarding main entrance to museum are 2 huge granite lions donated by China to Thailand King on his 60th birthday. You can see statues of Terracotta army at rear left 1st floor. Staircases to upper floor are at rear Left and right sides. There are even 19 statues of Shaolin Laohan on 2nd floor and many other deities. On 3th floor, you can see the beautiful surrounding area of this museum and lake. In the distance towards south, you can see some tall buildings of Pattaya. Toward East, you can see a huge craving of Buddha on the mountainside..
Toilets and food/drink are available at left side buildings/lake before entering museum on right.

“Amazing place - not to be missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2014

We were unaware of this place - friends that live in Pattaya took us, we therefore had no expectations before getting there. This is a must see, must do experience. It's a Temple which is now a museum, steeped in history, and expresses very well the relationship between Thailand and China. China has donated many beautiful pieces to the museum including part of the Terracotta Army. There are statues on all levels and views are just amazing. If you do one thing in Pattaya, make it this,
