Stayed at JP's on many occasions, Great value with large clean comfortable rooms. Nice big pool. If you can get passed the rude larger lady on reception, the others are great (seems to be her normal demeanour every time i've stayed) you'll have a very nice stay...
I stayed here for a week in october ,and then returned for a week in november, The rooms are a good size comfortable and clean. The first room I had was on the 3rd floor with a nice balcony to sit on, and was 650 baht a night, The second room was on the ground floor, the balcony was not so nice,but when you opened the front door the pool was right there,it was now 700 baht. The price rises in the high season.. I filmed the room and pool and put it on youtube.. The staff are a mixed bunch some more friendly than others,but they are all helpful if you ask them anything. There is no restaurant or breakfast, just coffee or drinks. Close by are many places where you can get breakfast from 50 baht up. Opposite the JP Court you can get fish and chips and mushy peas from 100 baht and nearby steaks or Thai food at good prices.Its a busy location with many bars and other entertainment establishments. The best thing for me was the pool,it is a very nice place to spend a relaxing afternoon.
Stayed there for three weeks pool good bathrooms poor lighting,no hot water over the vanity, the front desk lady (the larger of three) extremly rude even after receiving chocolates from us bad mannered, It was an effort to answer any questions regarding help or advise on the local area,shopping eating etc.
Many returning customers here and very friendly people at the reception.
Basic but big and clean rooms with a balcony (don't take the smaller ones without balcony on ground floor)
Best to take a balcony room with view on the swimming pool.
Big fridge with the free daily 2 bottles of water, the rest you can put in yourself (the way I like it)
Good TV with many channels.
Wifi only on ground floor near the reception or swimming pool.
No safe in the room.
A good swimming pool but gets less sunshine now due to a construction (new hotel) nearby, that blocks the sun.
Location on soi Lengkee is good (for me), but not near the beach.
Free parking for your car in front of the hotel, I think for about 10 cars.
Good budget option.
I'm writing this from the poolside at j p court. This is the first time I've stayed here and will not be the last. I cannot fault the place one bit. I'm paying 800 baht a night and I think that great value, I'm sure the owners will not mind my saying however that I don't think the place is suited to families but if like me you are a single traveler it's perfect in every way
