“good and friendly stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013

i did stay at the venue for 2 weeks holiday, the hotel nice and clean, the staff always cherfull and look after the guest so nicely, nothing to much for them to make your stay enjoyable, the hotel clean and a bit noisy at the night but if you stay in cabaret hotel don,t expect silence and peacefull stay.

no bar and restaurant for breakfast at the morning, they start to work around 04.00 at the afternoon and that a bit enoying sometime.

We have a good time and will go again for sure

Room Tip: rooms at the last floor more quiet

No words to say how much i have valued their service from the time i stepped in to the hotel until my departure. The Manager Mr. Kittisan knows exactly how to handle clients, how to attend to their needs with his politeness and kindness. The rooms are spot clean, comfortable beds, new linen, nice cosy small bathrooms. They say you get 02 bottles of mineral water for a day free of charge but i always had over 4 bottles in the room.such was their attentiveness. The staff is so professional, excellent attitudes, good small swimming pool to be on your own any time of the say. This pool got a good jacuzzi.
the cabaret show in the evening starting at 2200 hours is one of the best i have seen by lady boys. If you visit Jomtien beach, dont miss out this show. Its worth spending an hour there to see this. Drinks are so damm cheap compared to most of the other places.
This is just 5 mnts walk to the Jomtien or Dongtan beach. Lots of good restaurants around. You can surely feel at home with such nice staff of the hotel around you.
The rates are so cheap compared with same standard hotels in that area.
they can be easily rated as 3* + in any standard.

Room Tip: if you are a single person the standard rooms are good enough but if you are 2 then ask for a Deluxe...

A small hotel above a cabaret bar, no problem with noise the bar closes at 12:30 except on exceptional nights like Christmas and New Year.
Large beds, lots of water in the shower, TV and DVD player.

OH yes.... a lift (Americans please read Elevator)

Room Tip: ask for the 4th floor.

The hotel is in Jomtien Complex, close to many excellent restaurants and night life. Service was friendly and the room was nice style and very clean - even the balcony floor was spotless. There is no restaurant. Minibar prices are cheap, and there are 4 complimentary bottles of water daily.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the back are very peaceful.

Now boys and girls if you Know Jomtien complex, you will know that it is a sort of run down, chaotic, noisy area. Step through the entrance of The Venue and you can leave all that behind and relax in Comfortable and affordable elegance.

No, The Venue is not a 5 star hotel but then again neither are its rates but you will certainly be treated like a 5 star customer.

No, The Venue is not a major hotel "Giant", it has a guest house feel to it where you will most definitely feel like a welcome guest.

Beautifully decorated spacious rooms, Clean sheets and towels every day, Tea & Coffee provided in the rooms, Flat screen TV & DVD player, Mini bar, Beach towels changed daily, Air con, well stocked toiletries, and all for under 30€ a night for two people, you cant really ask for more can you ?

Downstairs every night is the show bar where you will be entertained with a high quality fast paced and spectacular show. Don't worry about the noise, it finishes well before midnight so you will get your beauty sleep....Oh yes, Beauty sleep. We all need it and you will sleep soundly in a very comfortable, Large bed with quality bedding !

As I said before, Not a "Hotel Giant" but most certainly walks with the giants where quality and value for money are concerned.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the building don't over look the complex itself so would be less noisy...

Ive just stayed at this 'hotel' for 9 nights after arriving a few days earlier than expected. I booked a Junir Suite and was told i had one, it turned out i didnt, but i was offered what i was told was a 'special rate' it might have been for a suite but not for the room i received, however, it was sufficient to stay for the amount of time, the mini bar was quite cheapish, but everything was OUT OF DATE, i told reception but in 9 days nothing happened to it, not my problem its just i would have drunk it dry everyday so they only lost out on money. i went to one of the many millions of 7 elevens and saved even more.

there is no food on site which is a shame they have plenty of room for a nice continental brekky area.

never used the tiny pool/terrace.

the house keeping staff are amazing, they really looked after me and vice versa, even got a lovely thank you and hug on my check out.

The show.... well it is you would expect, miming!! except for one guy who something live, which was very nice... its all big colourful costumes (on the lead mimist) but entertaining to watch, however they say there is no cover charge but jeez you are stung for a bottle. 130 baht for a singha, other bars charge between 40-60 baht so effectively you are being charged but it is hidden in the drinks prices, and then after the show they hang around for tips.

the service staff are nice, one didnt smile the whole time i was there, he needs to go. but the others are brill and nice and funny.

The hotel is 5 mins from the Beach, and Baht Buses are 2 mins walk away which is very handy to pattaya 10-20baht depending how far you travel. twice they tried to rip me off, he asked for a hundred.. i soon told him where to go, he said he would call the police i said 'fine, i will wait' he drove off.

i was looking forward to a nice chat with the owners but never got to see them unfortunately.

there is a really nice local restaurant called 'spring onion' its sooo cheap for lovely delicious Thai food and they will make the food to your liking with the spices. up to 80 baht for curry and rice.

I would stay here again it was nice, and peaceful. even with the show on you couldnt hear an awful lot and i was on the 3rd floor.

Enjoy your stay but dont expect an awful lot..

there is a lovely restaurant on the beach road called Akvavit about 10 mins from the hotel, it is a must and is advertised on channel pattaya one. find it and have a nice evening.

they are doing hotel rooms to a very high standard soon, so i will be checking it out. The owner and Executive chef is called pelle pettersson and makes it his pride to welcome you.

The only reasons one stay there is if one like nightlife and this place is not a hotel (no good facilities) and should not be listed under hotels. It's a guest house in a noisy entertainment area and room was also very noisy and not very clean...no chance to get a good night rest. However the service is good and if someone likes nightlife and does not mind to stay in a bed and breakfast kinda place then I assume it is ok...however the rates are not that cheap. We go Pattaya often for the weekend and stay at many hotels but this one is not a real hotel but more a few shophouses with a noisy night club and we cannot return.
