Great service. Since check in, front officer lead us to the room with the view. You can enjoy view from the bathtub. 2 single bed fit enough for a couple with teenager son.
Pool with the panorama view of Pattaya sea.
Shopping is convenience, Central Festival just below.

We knew about what awaits us, but what we saw when arriving exceeded all our expectations ... Do not think at all, and book in this wonderful hotel. The rooms are all with a sea view, and believe me we thought we are in a dream..!!!!...Although we have not intended to go back to Pattaya we will do it again just to stay again in this wonderful hotel .... We all know how great the hospitality is in Thailand. Well prepare yourself to see something even more wonderful, even if you have visited Thailand several times.

Room Tip: All room are with a sea view..!!!

We stayed at the Hilton for two nights during the long weekend. The rooms we've got on the 28th floor are OK in terms of decoration but didn't function the way a hotel should work. The list of things that has failed to meet expectations of a Hilton property are:

1. Room doors that don't auto shut properly meaning that if you don't shut it really hard, it will not be locked. A better door closer is needed!

2. Do not disturb and Housekeeping lights that don't function.

3. A closet that is impossible to put things in there. Also the lack of usable drawers in the closet which made storing things impossible. The electric safe were put in the only drawer available in the closet area which is sort of blocked by a pair of sliding closet doors. You would have to shuffle that quite a bit to be able to either use the safe or shut the closet doors properly. The closet itself also feature a set of lights which turns on and off randomly through out our stay.

4. Lighting Systems - this is one of the worst part. Our room had problem with the electronic lighting control going crazy. Lights were flashing randomly at intervals but it turned out OK when we turned off the master switch. The problem came back repeatedly when we tried to switch all the lights on.

5. Doors - The toilet doors won't shut all the way which leaves a gap going into the bathroom.

6. Toilet Drainage - Since this is a new hotel, I believe there might be some construction dust in the sewage and sometimes it is impossible to drain the bathtub or flush the toilet.

7. Lack of Usable Furnitures - that says it all

8. Housekeeping - This posted a major issue. Housekeeping keeps forgetting to refill the tissue, empty the trash, top up the toiletries and they didn't clean the floor properly as bits of sand are still on the floor!

9. Service - It was dull and mediocre. Staff seems to be complaining amongst themselves of a computer system that doesn't work and door locks that keeps malfunctioning. Service at breakfast is poor as they are under-staffed. Food quality at Breakfast is OK but service needs to be improved.

10. Lack of Welcoming atmosphere - The hotel doesn't look welcoming at all. It might be due to the complete absence of flowers and plants but that shouldn't be an issue if you're not really into vacationing.

Things that were good during our stay were:

1. Bell captains and luggage service - Delivery were prompt and precise.

2. Room Service - Great food, good service!

3. Operators - Understanding, tried their best but due to the housekeeping service themselves, they can not do anything to make things better.

Overall I'd say, if you are looking for a holiday experience, it's better to choose the Marriott or Sheraton which are truly 5 stars. If you would want to stay at the Hilton, wait for a few months and they may settle and start improving. There are always service glitches at new hotels so you'd have to prepare for that!

Room Tip: Ask for the South facing side and high floors!

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Pattaya we stayed in a jaccuzzi suite and cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough, also the food and service in the Restaraunt is beyond reproach in particular the "Snowfish" is to die for!!! We return at the end of April and can think of no better place to stay in Pattaya.......Mark and Chonnipa

Room Tip: Seek a high suite for the view alone!!!

I stayed at the Hilton Pattaya for 2 weeks and I came back home happy and relaxed. The decor is very easy on the eye, soothing even. The rooms are spacious enough, with nice view and big bathroom. If you dont feel like hitting the crowded streets of Pattaya you can unwind by the pool, on the terrace of the bar or spoil yourself with a heavenly massage ( especially recommend Thai massage or aroma therapy one). The only things that bugged me was the size of the pool ( not big enough for weekends when the hotel fills up) and lack of employees properly speaking English. Tried to discuss items on the bill with the receptionist at the check out and gave up. Lovely staff overall though. The food is amazing as well, be it breakfast, buffet dinner or a la carte. The food was especially important to me as I have health problems with my stomach and need to be extra careful when eating out. No issues for two weeks, hence highly recommend!
