“Another happy stay at Mosaik”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I took a 60 sq.m. one-bedroom apartment for four weeks. Optional room clean with towel and linen change charged at 250 baht. Electric was charged at 7 baht/unit and water at 40 baht/unit. My weekly electric and water charge was approximately 1000 baht.

I have stayed several times at the Mosaik in Pattaya. The location is great; all the staff really helpful; and the rooms and communal areas are clean. I reported a problem with the air-conditioner in my bedroom and it was dealt with immediately. The block in which I stayed had a lift to all floors. My apartment came with a full size refidgerator, kettle, microwave and a two-ring hob. The free wi-fi worked adequately.

Trying to get an outside line was hit and miss, so it helps to a have a mobile with you. Some of the furniture is looking a little tired now and the walls could do with a lick of paint. That said, Mosaik Apartments do offer exceptional value for money. I look forward to my next stay at the Mosaik.

Quiet street My room got broken in to (On top of french restaurant) Had to change rooms 4 x Security not good Bed hard as a rock I ended up moving to a safer and better accomodation They need better security Would not stay here again Was unsafe as a solo traveller.

and my gosh the cleaning staff come and annoy you too early. absolutely madness.
half the time i ignored them

they need those "do not disturb" door hangings

Cucumber Inn near by is much better staff more friendly and safe for solo travellers

Was really surprised by the standard of the apartment which was exceptionally high. The apartments are really roomy and you could comfortably stay there for long periods, nice lounge, well fitted kitchen which plenty of utensils, large bathroom and a massive bed which I found very comfortable. A very secure place, very clean and the bedding was changed every alternate day.
Above all the most impressive aspect was the price. Would recommend the place to anyone

Room Tip: If you arrive by taxi make sure you have a location map for the driver

It is not easy to find the first time, but the location is actually excellent: walking street is 500mt away and a mall is also very close, as well as many restaurants. The room is big and the bed is huge.

Mosaik apartments have been on the scene for a few years now and could do with an upgrade as they cannot really be called 'luxury'. Location is excellent.
Good decor, good lighting, and helpful staff. My mattress was very hard and I mentioned the issue at the office. We will replace it, they said. It was done within 3 hours and a brand new, softer mattress was put in place. Cannot ask for better.
The back rooms have windows that open out to nearby walls and there is no pool, but the apartments are popular, and with good reason.

I am staying at the Mosiak Apartments as I type this review. I must admit I was surprised by the presentation and cleanliness of the rooms. If I was going to live in Pattaya then this type of apartment would suit me fine. As everyone else says, it is worth paying the extra bit of money for a studio type apartment. The furniture is very posh, large comfortable chairs for relaxing. The bed is a great size, my only drawback is the mattresses are so hard, but you come to expect that everywhere in Thailand so not being critical here of Mosaik.

Location wise is fantastic, once you find your way there to the apartments the rest is easy. There are about 4 different ways you can depart from here, all heading in different directions and something different to see. The beach and Walking Street is about a 10 - 15 minute walk if you can walk directly without stopping at all the bright stalls along the way. Out the other side you have the Zucom Shopping mall, Starbucks, plus a healthy range of small cafes and restaurants. The taxis are whizzing by the main street every minute and 20 bath per person is enough to get you to the main shopping centres in Central Pattaya. Privacy is great, you have your main door at the rear to come and go plus a security camera phone to buss people coming in.

Cons so far I have seen are very little. No pool but then I knew that, beach is ten mins walk. Make sure you bring plenty of power adaptors with you, if not you can buy at the Zucom mall for about 50 bath each. Kitchen only has one power supply and that's behind the fridge. You have to move the microwave sitting on top of the fridge so you can plug in the kettle. I notice from other reviews that now there is a light above the mirror in the bathroom, kettle is provided, as is cutlery and crockery however basic, it's only butter knives, forks and spoons. If you need a cutting knife or tin opener then buy when you get here.

Have yet to see how my final bill will eventuate, as I am here another 2 days. Anyone with questions pls write me at scottik1962@gmail.com and I will happily reply.

Again a very nice place to stay, no real views but two small balconies if you like to 'people watch' One person mentioned the rooms being noisy, unfortunately the sitting chairs are massive wooden design with cowskin fur, they look fantastic but are very heavy and do tend to make a bit of noise when being moved, other than that no problems for me noise wise and I know that the whole building is booked out.

Room Tip: As everyone says, request a room at the back. Get a studio if your budget can afford it. No point sh...
