“Amazing Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

This hotel was conveniently located within a few minutes walk from the beach. The Ocean Beach Club was fantastic albeit a little pricey. Staff at the hotel were great, asked how firm we wanted our pillows and which scent we preferred in our room. Great stay- would go again.

I travelled in May 2013 - its taken me this long to write the review as I don't ever write reviews but thought this is worth writing about.

We returned to Twin Palms for a friends birthday party having lasted visited two years ago. I was pleased to see that the resort looks to have benefited from on going maintenance and upkeep.

Minor niggles relate to staff operating on "Thai time" rather than as quickly as I'd expect, but a small thing.

Other than the beach clubs and a few restaurants around, there is not too much within walking distance - Pattaya (for those who feel the need) is about 30 min.

Room Tip: We had a Pool duplex room which was magnificent, the only down side is that you miss the activity ar...

We got the bungalow unit and it was spacious and comfortable. Service is nothing special. Front desk personnel will offer you tour packages to the island, elephant village or transportation to Bangkok but it's pricey so I suggest you get those separately. The place is near the beach, the mall and a lot of reastaurants and bars. But this is far from the Walking Street so if you want to go there, you'll have to take the shuttle.

A cheap basic hotel for £25 per night via Hotels.com. Positives...location along the strip and the pool, which, although a bit cloudy with numerous uncollected plates and glasses left on tables has the most perfect, tiled surround which I have seen for years. The grounds are also immaculate with an assortment of pretty flower beds to look at. The room had a quiet and efficient Samsung AC unit with digital controls to accurately maintain the temperature.
Negatives...our room was at the back (308), the door had a massive gap around it and was 10 m from the second road which was extremely noisy ( it was Songkran though ) although the gap was an issue. Your maximum of two per two people issued towels will also be threadbare and smelly. Also, signs in English and Russian in corridors asking people to be quiet between midnight and 6 am are often an indicator of potential issues although the corridors were fairly quiet so not a problem this time. The PVC coated mattress was also of dubious quality and makes one question the kind of people who use them.
If combining this hotel with another of slightly higher standard then you can't go wrong in my opinion. Perfectly acceptable.

Room Tip: Avoid 308 unless you are a vehicle enthusiast!

hotel was handy to the beach, rooms where good a cleaned quickly, i found it was a bit of a walk to go anywhere, also do not pay extra for breakfast, the only thing hot is the coffee. we ate it once and then walked down thw road. The pool was nice, but be warned the surface around the pool is very slippery when feet are wet.

Room Tip: dont get the breakfast and ask for pool wing

Having stayed at Twin Palms Resort previously I know what to expect
Plain Hotel in good location
The room are good size and have good bathroom facility.
The TV has beeb upgraded but the bed is still very hard (Thai way)
OK breakfast (no real Coffee)
But all can be forgotten considering the location between beach and second road.
OK for a few days

Room Tip: City block street side rooms tend to be loud
