On our travels we decided to visit Pattaya. Booked to stay at Apple Inn for 9nights arriving on 1st December.
As soon as we arrived the hotel was pitch black - not welcoming at all. And a car parked right outside blocking the hotel.
Arrived at the hotel around 9.30am and the man on the desk could only say 'check in is at 1pm' he couldnt even check our reservation. We came back to the hotel after 1pm to check in they demanded full payment up front.
Room is very basic and 3 lights not working.
Russian man that owns it does not even say hello and sits and smokes and drinks all day. Also a pervert - so watch out girls!
Not once did we get offered a menu for food or drink - appauling.
After having stayed 5 nights we decided to move on with our travels as we hated this place.
Asked to get some money back from the hotel as we had only stayed 5 nights - the owners response was NO.
I then receive an email from booking.com who made me aware of the changes of the reservation and now the total would be only for the 5 nights we have stayed - showed this email to the owner and still would not give us any money back.
Disgusting and clearly only welcome to russian visitors!!

The place was pretty much close to every highlight spot! Room was huge, very clean, with aircon and balcony .... Taxi to the sea front cost really little but also you can get local transport for even less! The owner was very friendly and had an amazing stuff who would help with every little thing. Fantastic job guys!
Honestly I'd be back here again!

The rooms are nice, however cost about double to places next door.
Another rather strange thing is in the evening they turn off all the lights in the lobby, so when you coming back, and after a few drinks, easy to walk past and not see the hotel.

its little noisy from all the bars around if one wants to stay in for the night, otherwise not too bad just no value for money

Apple Inn was the worst hotel i ever stayed. The owner/manager or whatever was almost drunk the whole day. First he told was we upgrade ur room because we r fully booked, but we just got what we booked. So only blabla. The remote for the aircon was almost unusable, without function, fixed to 25degree, night and day we sweat at the room. We asked for changing the temperature and he denied because of high costs for electricity. There was a wifi connection at the 4th floor, but he did not tell us the password, said its broken and we only can use the wifi at the lobby. The towels were dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. No "do not disturb sign" for the door. The beed was more than soft, so that my back hurts at the next day. Much mold at the bathroom. No ventilation at the bathroom. Aircon turns off when u open the door to the balcony, and u have to switch it own again on ur own, after door is closed again. One chair at the balcony was totally broken and so it was not possible to have a seat. I heard about other hotels for same money that are much better. Just search here at tripadvisor. Here u can read the truth. Not like on the booking-sites.

I fully endorse the previous two reviews. We arrived having booked the hotel for 5 days. We had also received confirmation by e mail. However the manager claimed that no rooms were available. All rooms fully booked! I cant believe that the owners can get away with this. We were told to leave with nowhere to stay. Luckily we found another hotel nearby with better facilities.
Even when confronted with evidence of the confirmation that they had sent to us, the response was that they had no rooms and were fully booked. Very strange.
It was interesting that every time we passed the hotel there were no lights on in the rooms and the premises seemed empty!
Avoid this hotel at all costs. If not, you may be in for a big surprise and will find that you have to rapidly make alternative arrangements.
