“Nothing like a restaurant”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 via mobile

As it is stated in its name, At first we felt a little awkward which was swiftly eased by the family members, and it was good to have a chat with them, as much as we knew the language they did. We had no problem with communication, and this kitchen was clean neat and spotless instead of our common school kitchen nightmares. It was a great experience, thank you!

“Good Food”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We eat her 3 nights out of our 7 night stay. Food was excellent and well priced. We went to the one in Koh Samui as well and both were very good. Would definitely recommend it and will go back

“The Best Staff In Thailand”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

The staff here are the most genuine I've ever encountered in Thailand, and they give very attentive service. Nice atmosphere in this restaurant on the very busy 2nd road and good, reasonably priced food. I noticed a couple of previous reviews claiming it's very expensive, which surprised me. I normally have a few drinks and a main course and the bill is always around 750 baht which is about £13.
I call that pretty reasonable for a great quality meal, wine and brilliant service in a nice setting. Not everything is dirt cheap in Thailand. You can buy cheap food from street vendors of course, where a bowl of rice and soup will set you back about 50 baht, but this is a nice Western influenced restaurant. To compare it another way, if you go up to the Sky Bar near the river in Bangkok one Singha beer is around 400 baht whilst down on the street in 7 Eleven it's 30 baht. Now that's what I call expensive!

“Upmarket Food at a great price”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Have eaten here several times recently and the food is really great, its slightly more pricey than the usual bar food BUT you pay for what you get. The lamb shank is absolutely huge and could feed two, falling off the bone and yummy. The other dishes I've tried have all been really good and more upmarket than normal.
Service is great and they have a top imported beer selection too!
