The Thair Garden Resort in Pattaya has been known for years for its Moon River Pub and live entertainment.
It has now introduced a new buffet for every evening of the week that is proving popular with guests and local visitors. Best of all, its only Bahts 299.- which is less than US$10.- a head, with reductions for children.
The buffet is out in the large garden area by the poolside and the all you can eat buffet has a different theme for each evening of the week. There is something to suit every visitors with a Pizza and Pasta night, BBQ Buffet, Multi-Cuisine evening and a German buffet. There is also a Thai Night, International Evening and a Steaks & Skewers Buffet.
Low key entertainment is provided by a trio of strolling musicians who play and sing the well known numbers from most parts pf the world.
The buffet is open from 18.00 hrs and can be very busy early in the early evening with long queues at the servery, but it is open until 21.00 hrs and becomes quieter later.

We have been travelling around Thailand for 3 weeks. Thai Garden Resort was one of 8 hotels we have stayed in.
After arriving really late and the long 16 hour flight we were greeted at reception with drinks and smiles from all members of staff. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The beautiful pool was fantastic with jacuzzi seats/beds. Happy hour was also fantastic, staff were walking around the pool informing all guests it was happy hour and asking if we would like a drink (making the drinks more local prices then th standard tourist rates), The drinks came fast we can only can assure you staff very officiant and friendly.

We will definitely be staying again!!

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are closer to everything but do bare in mind the pool opens at 6am

We stayed at this beautifully maintained garden resort during our honeymoon trip to the far East and we were pleasantly surprised. Initially we were looking at the established 5 stars namely Amari and Hilton- due to our visit coinciding with the high tourist season there were no availabilities for the days we wanted; and we booked this hotel which was not our first choice. We were impressed by the ambience of the place- the traditional garden which runs throughout the whole complex is skilfully landscaped and very well maintained indeed. The free form huge pool was another big plus and the overall cleanliness of the place was impeccable with is always another worry when you are booking p[laces with un familiar names. We booked a deluxe pool view room- which is one of the more pricey ones, but considering the extras and the size of the room, it was well worth it. The room was very very spacious; there was a really nice fruit basket which was the best in all the hotels that we stayed in Thailand. The bathroom was, again, very big with separate rain shower area, all the expected amenities; the only down thing was that there was no bathtub. However the pool was so inviting that was not too much of a problem; the pool also included few areas of swim up Jacuzzi areas. The honeymoon decoration, also, we must say was one of the best ones that we had throughout our honeymoon trip among all the 7 hotels. The buffet breakfast was good- the variety was not as much as some of the other well-known hotels, however we didn’t feel left wanting- you had your regular chef station to get your freshly cooked eggs and pancakes- so you should be covered. The hotel also offered a nice buffet dinner- at a really good price- however we did not go for that- as we had dinner reservations at few of the sea front restaurants and sea food places almost every night; however the food looked good on paper and on our way out to the main party areas. Overall the resort is very pretty, quiet and relaxing and not noisy. It is a bit detached from the crazy party crowd- so nice for families with children. One of the other big plus of the resort was the open air spa in the quieter part of the garden; in fact we must say the masseurs working there are one of the best ones that we have encountered in whole of Thailand. We would definitely want to stay again if we were in the same neck of the woods in the future.
.

Room Tip: We stayed in deluxe pool view room- which is at the front end of the resort and we loved the room. W...

Stayed here over Christmas and it was perfect for us. Good enough location and quiet at night. Jump on a Baht bus and you’re in the centre of Pattaya in 10 minutes for only 10 Baht. Breakfast suited us as they serve up till 11am. Also pools area was great place to relax after a late night. Would definitely return to this hotel again.

We stayed here this week, I wasn't massively impressed but we ate big believers in 'you get what you pay for!'! Reception staff were pleasant on arrival, we paid for 'superior pool view' We couldn't see the pool and the room wasn't superior!!! The breakfast selection was very poor, tailored heavily towards Europeans. The pool is great, clean, plenty of sunbeds and nice jacuzzi areas. This hotel is bout 15 min walk from main area of pattaya.

After living in Bangkok and visiting several hotels in Pattaya for long weekends we have finally found one we are looking forward to coming back to.
The previous reviews helped me chose this place as I was looking for a family friendly place.
Thai Garden Resort is clean, friendly and efficient. It is quiet (yipee) and has a resort feel despite being away from the beach. A plus for us as we have kids is that it is also away from the sleeze.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious with the usual fridge,tv and aircon. We had two standard rooms as you can only have 3 in a room. The room has a double and a single bed. There is no balcony but there are chairs and a table in the large corridor outside each of the rooms
The food is good and the buffet breakfast finishes at 11 so you can have lie in.
There is plenty of space to lounge around the pool without feeling like a sardine.
The pool is huge and the kids had a great time using the jacuzzi jet areas. My daughter said it was better than going to Centara beach resort- high praise indeed.
There are restaurants nearby or you can grab a songthaw to the beach strip and all it has to offer but we were happy with the hotel buffet which was very good.
Overall we had a good stay and will be back.
